Ugh, why aren't you 10 years younger. Would solve so many problems.
 
Great game.

Top player, hope the once weekly games this season helps keep him fresh. Need his experience and leadership in this team.
 
You can see why he has so many Champions League titles. Madrid haven’t even replaced him.
 
When he jumped on Carrick's back, was just something else, when you consider he's won so much in his career
 
He has been good for almost the entirety of the season, there has been some moments in a few games where he made mistakes but it something that happens to everyone.
 
Some of those sliding tackles from the side were quality. He was brilliant again.
 
Class player. Not his fault that he joined us in a terrible time under 2 horrendous managers.

He would've been amazing this past couple of seasons in a better system.
 
That tackle on Haaland at the edge of the area, how did he manage that?
 
Yeah we overpaid, yeah he lacks pace, but I've really enjoyed him being at United.

You can see he's a proper footballer.

I can't remember the last time a player got an applause like that when being subbed.

I think he has been pretty good this season and the lack of games is keeping him fresh IMO.

I saw another poster saying he hopes he'll stay on reduced wages. I think he probably would if the team is doing well!
 
Best sliding tackle of the season today to win the ball outside the box. Love his passion. Time flies but let's keep him around for experience and good vibes for another season I say.
 
Not been his biggest fan but he was fantastic today. Too bad, he couldn't score.
 
I think he's served his purpose and has been a key player in getting us back into the champions league in his first season at the club. But I think we have to move him on because setting up to play in transitions and ceding possession is a setup he's best utilised in and that setup isn't going to bring about a big enough improvement to challenge the top teams.

He along with Ugarte should be moved on imo.
 
Played very well. He does have an annoying habit of lunging in unnecessarily once or twice a game though
 
Was really good, and I think he’s been awful this season. But just shows when you condense the midfield and protect him and Mainoo, not the most dynamic duo, then he adds a lot.
 
The standing ovation when he left the field was really nice to see and well deserved.

Yes he’s had poor games, but in general I think he’s been good. Let’s not ignore he’s had 2 managers that didn’t really believe in midfield - let’s see how he does and if he can continue these performance under Carrick.
 
Don't regret his transfer at all. Sure his wages are too high but we would have been in a way darker place these last 4 seasons without him.

Would have likely been better if we got Rice or Caicedo at the time, but after failing to get De Jong (and Rice), we couldn't have done much better than this guy.
 
He has been solid for us this season, and he was excellent today, excellent.
 
Colossus. The team was compact, the midfield was tighter, and he benefited hugely. Monster performance. And the Old Trafford crowd know how quality he is. What an ovation.

Awful? He’s been one of our best players this season. We fell apart every time he came off the pitch.
 
The interactions between him and Carrick were funny. What a midfield duo those two would have been.

But yeah, better shape and structure not as exposed as much and he showed his class, was fantastic. Put in a shift as well.
 
I thought ETH chaos ball with this 4.........1.......... 5 system had ruined him but he has turned it around this season. Been one of our better players this season
 
Outstanding. His engine shuts off at 65 minutes, but he hung in there for all of us.
 
He’s a different player with another cm beside like Mainoo, it all depends on the summer business but 350k a week I dont think so unless he takes a pay cut.
