Ahead of likes of Matthäus ,Rijkaard ,Busquets really
Yes, very likely ahead of those as well as the likes of Dunga, Keane and Kante. Although at this level it’s always difficult to differentiate players

Did ok but numerous times he was just way too slow to get the end of passes. Tonight was a game where realise even if you can’t get a like for like replacement there is a lot he can’t do and other players can add something else to the team.

Thought he was good. Proved to be alright playing two 90 minute games in short period of time.

Thought he looked very leggy, the short turnaround from the Spurs match won't have helped him much.

Despite that he was decent, got stuck in defensively and tried to make things happen, if unsuccessfully. Considering he was effectively playing in midfield by himself it's hard to criticise him too much. Should have done better for the West Ham goal though, both at the start of the move, and at the end.

Awful today. Did he make a successful forward pass?

What on earth happened here?
His passing has been sharp before this game, suddenly he just gives the ball away with what feels like a majority of his passes.

Passing was diabolical today. Think he hit one good one out to Dalot but the amount of times he messed up the opportunity to set someone away either via holding it too long, not taking it on or simply just playing a terrible pass were one too many for my liking.

Probably needs to be playing every few days to keep his momentum going, 2 weeks without a game really showed, he was sluggish and poor in possession.

A moment that almost made me scream out loud was when we had a chance to counter. He has the ball with lots of space, Mbeumo is sprinting his socks off, Casemiro hits the pass straight to Pickford. Not even close.

A night to forget, shows how crucial his position is. Looked largely out of ideas with him off the boil.

We controlled midfield until we decided to protect out lead. History records the job got done and that three midfielders were, in no particular order, Fernandes, Mainoo and Casemiro. The only glove Everton laid on us were the 27 corner kicks where they jammed 9 bodies inches away from Lammens, and every one of those corner kicks ended in a clearance or a Lammens masterclass.

The temptation to trash our own players is understandable, but sometimes you have to take into account what the opposition and the pitch conditions, which were atrocious by design.

Man Utd 2:1 Crystal Palace New
Didn’t play well today, was getting by passed way too easily and just didn’t have the legs to keep up with the Palace players. Both him and Mainoo weren’t good enough today.

Should have scored that header. Otherwise average by his standards

Played the full match and although off peak Casemiro made sure things got sorted out to the point where by the last 15 minutes of the match we set Palace’s house on fire to the point where Hendo had to make multiple excellent saves.

He has done very well for us recently but his passing was a disaster in the last 30 minutes of the game.

Newcastle 2:1 Man Utd New
Pleaseeeeeeee make him change his mind and sign a new contract!!! Impossible to replace right now!!

Without him we’d have no chance of champions league. I know Bruno is beloved by all but Casemiro is by far our best player.

Other than the goal he was crap and deserved to go off. His legs have gone at some point every season he’s been here and some signs recently it could be happening again.

He’s done way better this season than could have expected but the idea he is irreplaceable simply isn’t true, he just can’t cope at times and night was one of those games for him.

I thought he was fantastic on the ball and terrible off it. Just can't keep up anymore, doesn't help Mainoo "speed" makes the distance between players too big to cover for Casemiro.

It feels like we're squeezing him to the absolute maximum this season. I don't think he'd be playing so much if we had next season in mind.

Honestly paired with Mainoo has made him work double time

Unless we have major replacements coming in we have to get him to stay. He is the only man who can play the right connecting pass from defense to attack and when he isn’t on the pitch we fall apart obviously one of our few leaders. he needs the right partner who isn’t mainoo at the minute, someone more industrial maybe James garner back.

Love him but counter attacking sides with pace destroy him currently.

He was chasing shadows at times.

I think he's been really good this season overall, but it's still the right decision to part ways. We need more athleticism in our midfield to play better football and get to the next level, and you're not going to get that with him starting every week.

Scary that he's probably are most dangerous goal threat, especially when we spent so much on a whole new attack. Will be sad when he goes but it's the right thing to do.

He was fine but these speedy teams are going to always be tricky to play against. Well miss his composure and goals next season.

Along with Kobbie it has to be the slowest midfield pairing in recent history!

I thought he was poor again as he has been last few games. Him and Mainoo are slow, and can't track runners, they need paired with energy. Casemiro has had a long season, you can see him starting to tire. Mainoo basically only started playing when Amorim went so has went from no play to regular starter, so maybe it's catching him up also. Mainoo is only 20, we keep giving Yoro a pass for his mistakes due to his age, he's only a couple of months older than Yoro. The combination of both together is not sustainable, they have the same weaknesses. I used to think our full backs don't bomb forward and overlap due to concerns about the pace we lack at central defence with the likes of De Ligt, Martinez and Maguire. But even in recent games with Yoro's pace, they still don't, I'm thinking they are more worried about lack of pace and willingness to track runners for our mid 2. Both mids on their own are quality players, but they need paired with someone who compliments them and right now we don't have anyone. Yesterday I was shouting for Ugarte to come on, think about that.... that's how bad it was.
