Anyone who reads stuff like this and doesn't see the (not so) underlying message about our owners is beyond reason.
give it to giggs till the end of the season
hummm... perhaps not the best plan
Those comments are from last week, I doubt she would have gone public with any issues before the end of the season and she's also not going to in an official club statement because the club wouldn't put that out. If the Telegraph got word of this before it was made official and they had the issues with the training ground as one of the factors it would suggest that that's come from someone's camp.So either she has or hasn’t got the backing/resources. If you’re going to quit in protest, you might as well make it clear why you’re quitting.
The Glazers have always treated the Women's team as an afterthought, literally. How a club like United were not vilified for failing to have a Women's team before they did is one of the biggest indictments against football media being blinded by the lights and not covering real issues as a result.Absolutely shameful by the 'biggest football club in the world'. Look at the stadium City's women team play in compared to United's. It says everything.
It's a massive shame that she has resigned. Tobin Heath was saying that one of the reasons she signed for United was because of Stoney. We'll struggle to find a better manager to come in.
First time it's ever happened and if the Women win Chelsea will be the first club to have ever won both Men's and Women's CL.Just checking the uwcl...realised Chelsea are both in the men's and women's CL finals. Pretty great season in Europe for them.
Bullhitter indeed!First time it's ever happened and if the Women win Chelsea will be the first club to have ever won both Men's and Women's CL.

Embarrassing stuff.Stoney, who was appointed as manager when the club reformed in 2018, has been unhappy with the support structure and facilities since the club made the temporary switch to the men’s base at Carrington at the start of the year.
Players were unable to shower in between training and meals before makeshift portacabins were installed while the nearest toilets are a 10-minute walk from their training pitch. Upgrades promised by the club and football director John Murtough have not been forthcoming.
Players are understood to feel let down by the way United have handled their presence at Carrington and hear contrasting stories from the women’s team at Manchester City, where Pep Guardiola is known to watch training and encourage togetherness. There is also a frustration at the club’s unwillingness to accommodate them at Carrington on a full-time basis.
CongratsFirst time it's ever happened and if the Women win Chelsea will be the first club to have ever won both Men's and Women's CL.
Guardian says they recently (last few weeks) moved to Carrington, but had to fit around the men.If they train at the cliff, that’ll be why. Not even fit for Salford
Why wouldn’t they be able to train at Carrington?
I hope she goes on the record eventually if it’s as bad as the stories that are coming out. Those comments are from last week, I doubt she would have gone public with any issues before the end of the season and she's also not going to in an official club statement because the club wouldn't put that out. If the Telegraph got word of this before it was made official and they had the issues with the training ground as one of the factors it would suggest that that's come from someone's camp.
The Art of Harrassment.give it to giggs till the end of the season
hummm... perhaps not the best plan
What a joke.
Come on. If that is true, then the club needs to be publicly shamed for this.

Because the facilities aren't there either. They can't share the men's facilities because of the way it's set up. There's no space. If they train at the cliff, that’ll be why. Not even fit for Salford
Why wouldn’t they be able to train at Carrington?
All news outlets seem to be pointing to the dire state of facilities. Even Sky Sports understands along the same lines - what a disgraceReally sad news - difficult to know what the true reasons are for now, but expect all sorts of rumours to leak out of the wood work.
Annoying thing is any, none, or all of them might be true
Why do things like this always come out after an event like this. It’s always slightly suspicious that the Mail just happened to have this info but didn’t think to share it until now? Could it be untrue, or embellished? Genuine question.Tweet

im surprised this hadn’t been said earlier, as that’s appalling if true.Tweet

The club's a complete shambles. It's why I don't get excited when we announce world record sponsorship deals; very little money is invested in bricks and mortar. The Glazers don't give a shit and haven't done since 2005.Stadium falling apart and shite conditions for the women. Grim situation for a supposedly "elite" club.
