Maybe if we keep saying it he will eventually concede and play both of them together. Maybe a 3-5-2 sometimes.
Sancho should be benched based on his performance so far. Ronaldo and Cavani can rotate between left and center forward among themselves.
We've been dying for a difference maker from the bench and as soon as we have one, there is a clamor for him to start. 
Not for me. Cavani off thr bench and starting when Ronaldo needs to rest is the way to go for most games.

Especially while wings being bit ineffective in current time, could be right timing to check it out.

We would lose every game with this line-up. This would only work with a 352 and even that is iffy.

Why can't we play Pogba and Bruno in midfield? Scholes was incredible in that position, Bruno has similar attributes. Those two should easily be able to play there.
Without looking it up, I would imagine we spend at least 40% of every match without the ball. Probably closer to 50% most of the time.
Nobody in your front six is any use without the ball.

Wonder if we'll see a diamond from Ole that we saw at times last season and the season before? This would obviously allow the two to play together without really sacrificing anything defensively.

Not enough pace. They have to play alongside another attacker to make it work. It only works with Ronaldo on the left.

Benzema wasn't exactly Usain Bolt when playing next to Ronaldo at Madrid in a 442 diamond.
Only because they'd be picking it out of the next every 5 minutes, right?

That’s irrelevant when Ronaldo was 10 years younger and had far more overall pace and mobility.
It was literally 3 years ago but whatever makes you happy.
Pace isn’t an issue. Ronaldo is still one of the faster forwards in the league. Energy is more of a concern.
Did you see his goal vs Newcastle? As you said, he still has that explosive pace over 10-15 yards.
I think it’s abit of both. Cavani brings energy and Ronaldo brings good bursts but someone like Greenwood or Rashford bring a hell of a lot more dynamism at the moment. I’d still prefer to pair Ronaldo and Cavani with one of the other attackers.
That’s different to relentless threat in behind all game or overall intensity.

If we sitback, Rashford, Greenwood and Martial brings much more to table when they have space to run into. Like we saw in 2019/2020 season.
But, as a club, and with the players we now have, we should not sitback anymore, anywhere. So, Ole should just make two pair of strikers like Cole/Yorke and Solskjær/Sheringham. Could be Cavani/Ronaldo and Greenwood/Martial + Elenga as a challanger.
Then set 3 at the back. Shaw can play as one of those or as a fullback. Wan Bissika and Sancho can cut their teeth, and Rashford on the left.
