Valerie by The Zutons has potential.

Since you've come on home,
I've really been impressed,
And you're well good in the air,
And we love the way you press,
Why only score the one goal?
When you could score three-eee?
What don't you score another, Cav-aani.
Ca-vannii!

Awesome news, carried us as a CF this season after Martial has been terrible. Really want him to play in front of a packed stadium before he leaves us, the guy is still world class.

Brilliant news. He oozes star quality. Watching Cavani and Greenwood's goals are one of the most enjoyable things at Utd at the moment. The crowd at Old Trafford will raise the roof for this guy (if it had a roof).

Great news.

Thought he would. Going by his insta he seems happy in his new home which looks like it overlooks the lake mere in Knutsford, where he's always fishing. Lovely part of Cheshire.
He loves his fishing our Edi. That's all he ever does during breaks and an ever present feature whenever he is asked about hobbies and life after football.

Brilliant news, imagine him scoring at a packed OT and shooting his arrow at the Stretford End

Just use the Falcao/Romero chant for his song...

Lo lo lo lo lo lo lo lo lo lo lo lo, Edinson Cavani,
Lo lo lo lo lo lo, Edinson Cavaniiii.

Delighted. As i was when we signed him. I hope that next year he will play every week. We can rest him in cups and CL.

So no Kane then? :wenger:

Hell yes. This season has proven there was a big Cavani shaped hole at the centrepiece of our attack so glad it'll be filled for a while longer.

Gotta say it feels good this news. Never rated him and thought it was an awful gamble. Watching him and how suited he is to United, I’m fuming earlier managers didn’t go in for him.
Class player and carries himself quite well from what I’ve seen so far.

Great result to keep him another year. Outstanding signing, elite striker.

Well done my man Ole who obviously played a big part in this. Edi mentions the relationship and trust he has with him.

Now let me back in Old Trafford Boris so I can see El Matador in the flesh!!

Great news, for next season, as I cannot see us throwing £100 million on a striker, in summer Martial now needs to step up and learn from this guy. Still hope we buy a striker .. be nice to see Cavani in front of a full house at OT.

The interview he has given is top.

He's gonna get a huge reception when Old Trafford is full again.

Great news and well deserved. I am delighted to have been proved wrong on him, as I am well documented on here as being opposed to us signing thin based on what I saw of him in his last season in France. He looked a shell of the player he once was then, and coming off a massively injury hit season and his age, I thought it was a step way too far to ask him to step up to the Premier League.

I'm delighted to have been wrong about all of that. Yes his career has been a bit stop start especially in the first half of the season, and we've had to manage his games, but when he's had a run for for us he's been absolutely quality.

No surprise, and a really good decision for both parties.

Now let’s sign Kane and Haaland as back up for Cavani and Greenwood.

This is so amazing. And to be fair the subtitles don't do enough justice to what he is actually saying. He says a lot more that was not translated imo.

If anyone’s watched The Witcher on Netflix you’ll know how this chant goes:

Toss a ball to Cavani
He’ll get goals a-plenty

Everyone knows football fans love Dua Lipa.

Cause I'm lost in... the way you move, the way you score
Edi is all it takes
Score some goals for me
Edinson Cavani
One chance is all he needs

Edit

Cause I'm lost in...the way you move, the way you score

One chance is all he needs

Way less complicated and more likely to catch.
