Great, Whoppee and thank you for all the cool footage! Special thanks to @jojojo and also to you and others who have made a place for Man Utd women at the Redcafé, updating with news, threads, info, videos and social media stuff. Great work in making it possible for all of us here to share this historical experience!

I think we've all come a long way since United announced they were setting up a team. The team have done us proud and the club has done a good job with it - from the management appointments at the start of the season through to the MUTV coverage.

Having the sub-forum's helped us I think and quite a lot of us have had a crash course in women's football over the course of the season as well.

Losing to Comeback Winning!
Well done!
First trophy, in the first season at that.

Tbh, it seems way too easy, not much to talk about, which may explain the quietness in this sub-forum section.
I predict there will be more people talking next season as the difficulty level of challenges mounting, with more big games vs the high profile top teams.

A lot of videos and photos going up now, but this one made me laugh. Chamberlain got injured this week (didn't play last night, wasn't wearing party shoes at the players awards the other night) but here she is hopping away from a champagne soak.

No worries
Good to see the girls get the chance to celebrate in front of an OT crowd before the match against Cardiff. Hopefully it convinces a few more fans to give them their support for next season. Seeing them with the trophy and getting a great reception from the fans was by far the best thing about today.

We won Championship Club of the Year, which might sound obvious but wasn't a foregone conclusion. Arsenal won WSL1, but it was Man City who got the prize there. It would be nice to think we got acknowledged for a bit more than just winning - clubs like Lewes and Aston Villa have doubled their average attendance this year, partly because United's name got a lot of people to their first women's match at those grounds, and some of the crowd came back for the next game. At any rate, they'll miss us now we've gone :D

Jess Sigsworth was the Championship golden boot winner as well as our top scorer.

We didn't get it all our own way:
Championship POTY was Kit Graham of Charlton.
The LMA chose Karen Hills of Tottenham as Championship Manager of the Year.
