Probably bullshit

Probably bullshit
Probably bullshit
In Barbados over ChristmasWhen did Rooney say that ?
Yes. But wuyn squad cost ratio kicking in. We will organically have much more to spend. Including moneys incoming from loans with obligations to buy kicking in and any other actual sales we will make in the summer.Didn’t we have to open additional credit accounts in order to afford last summers transfer?
Even though I think Anderson and Baleba CAN play together I think Anderson and Wharton is better balanced and offers a bit more creativity so we’re not so reliant on Bruno.Any two of these will do
I think an Anderson/Wharton pairing with Bruno as the 10 offers pretty much everything needed and having Mainoo, Mount, one of Casemiro on a reduced wage or Ugarte, Kone and the Fletcher’s all around as back up packs the midfield out too.Sign 2 and keep Bruno.
Bruno deserves to play with 2 top midfielders behind him.
I really wouldn't say the 2 players are similar tbh.If Neves can offer what Hargreaves offered on the pitch in 2007/2008 then sign him up straight away because Hargreaves was unreal.
Bizarre comment from Rooney.
He would have been on the Lash!In Barbados over Christmas
In similar news, Jonjo Shelvey fancies a move back to LiverpoolContacts!
Probably a couple of local shopkeepers.
Of those three I’d say Anderson because he can be a ball winner, box to box, press resistant, can pass and is very good positionally whilst Baleba would require Mainoo to dictate play and Wharton would require Mainoo to be the ball winner. For the sake of argument, let's assume we play a 4231 next season with Mainoo a nailed on first choice player in the central two.
Which of those three midfielders complements him the most stylistically?
Baleba or Anderson, Wharton probably not the one I’d say.For the sake of argument, let's assume we play a 4231 next season with Mainoo a nailed on first choice player in the central two.

This. No way in hell i would sell Bruno. Bruno wants to prove something before he leaves united, bruno wants to win a damn trophy. We just need to qualify for cl or atleast europe for more funds to get the midfielders that we want, getting that £100m is really important right now.Sign 2 and keep Bruno.

They would suit playing together.Yeah thats why I was saying Rooneys comment is bizarre, Hargreaves and Neves arent similar in the slightest.
Crazy. He's the complete opposite of Hargreaves as a player. Its like Rooney has never actually seen Neves playIf Neves can offer what Hargreaves offered on the pitch in 2007/2008 then sign him up straight away because Hargreaves was unreal.

CorrectI thought Neves was a good player for Wolves, and I think it would be a good signing for 20m Euros. Just as long as it doesn't stop us from buying Anderson or Baleba /Wharton if we can't get Anderson.
You could never play those 2 together, theres no defense there.I'd absolutely take Ruben Neves in Jan. Him and Mainoo in CM would be a bit lightweight but his passing may be compensates for that by helping us break down the parked buses.
The one that works the hardest and covers the most ground. For the sake of argument, let's assume we play a 4231 next season with Mainoo a nailed on first choice player in the central two.

Yeah I completely agree, however think the wage issue with him would prove too difficult to overcome. This is probably why Ornstein said he doesn't hear Utd are interested in himI thought Neves was a good player for Wolves, and I think it would be a good signing for 20m Euros. Just as long as it doesn't stop us from buying Anderson or Baleba /Wharton if we can't get Anderson.
Anderson, then Baleba. For the sake of argument, let's assume we play a 4231 next season with Mainoo a nailed on first choice player in the central two.

That doesn’t help with the player’s motivation for playing here if he only leaves Barca because they’re broke. We need hungry players here and it rarely works if they’ve been at top clubs before. Good chance a player will fade/come here mostly for the money.Just saw some links to Marc Casado. Has anyone seen him play? I always like the idea of taking a young midfield player from Barca because they’re broke.
I mean his motivation would be having a realistic chance to be a starter, no? Like I said I’ve never seen him play but surely he’s not starting over FDJ or Pedri. That doesn’t help with the player’s motivation for playing here if he only leaves Barca because they’re broke. In moving Hojlund, Rashford and Zirkzee all on plus Sancho, Onana and Casemiro’s wages I think we’re in a far better position financially than a lot realise and if all of those paid Anderson as well as let’s say Pope and Welbeck on a free then I’d say that’s actually us upgrading the squad without really spending much money and allows us to spend our actually transfer budget on another midfielder, a left back and a left sided forward.Agree with all your points but I do worry we won't have the funds for Anderson. Baleba and Wharton together wouldn't fill me with confidence and for a still significant outlay. If we can't get Anderson we probably need an alternative that isn't the others or Mainoo.
Romano reporting it, though says we have yet to decide. Not sure I think it's wise unless a loan, he's 29 and had a long period with awful injuries. Would happily loan with option to buy maybe?I use to like Ndidi when he was at Leicester. Not sure what he’s like now. Neves would be a quality signing, his passing is exactly what we need from deeper areas
