What are they doing to the CL? Thursday nights are known for Europa/conference. Plus we have a derby on the Sunday. What a joker
 
No one sings the anthem anymore. Not one player. It's weird. I've watched a ton of CL games over the last five years and I'm always looking to see if a single player is going to belt out, "The Champions!!!!!!!!", but no one ever does. What gives?

Have to laugh at some of these refs, McGinn gets booked for a foul on the break, yellow card. Two Brugge players do the same to Alysson, no yellow card.

Alysson lad looks fairly lively for Villa.

Probably the first goal. He didnt close down McGinn quick enough but that was a top finish. Dont remember him being at fault for the other goals.

Definitely grew into the game and was pretty impressive in the 2nd half, plays quite high when they have the ball but also has good recovery pace to be back positionally while defending
 
6 of Madrid's starting line up used to play in England. That must be a first, I'd have thought.

City’s style under Maresca so far is very slow.
