Not sure it’d be a wise move to throw Kane in biggest match of Spurs history after a lengthy lay off. He’d be rusty as feck and there’s no competitive match between next Sunday and CL Final.

The current system works, it’s better to keep him on bench and bring him on if needed.

True. But for either team to have reached the final is itself a remarkable achievement.

Agreed. And whilst I don't agree with the initial statement it's how it is nowadays

Hopefully your lot do it. To make a final with what's happened with the stadium and no signings is unbelievable. esp after 3 games in the group. And now it happened Vs city and now ajax

If Ajax had got to the final, I'm pretty sure they would have just played their normal game and Liverpool would win. Spurs can match Liverpool in almost all areas.

My gut feeling says it's Spurs. Much like Liverpool in 2005 they have scraped through the group stages, beaten the English Champions in the knockout stages, lost a lot of games in the league etc.

Also a Champions League win might actually convince some Spurs players to stay and build on it. Levy might actually start to pay the sort of wages the top players want.

If Robertson is out it will be a huge blow for Liverpool.

Third time's a charm. I'm a Spurs fan from now until the end of this awful, garbage catastrophe of season.

Wonder what the odds were at half-time in both games?

I think I’m reasonably happy that it’s Spurs through to the final. They’re more likely to win than Ajax IMO.

I fancied our chances vs Ajax. Spurs not so much. They'll be on a high after that comeback, and they are always tricky for us to play against. We're probably bookies favourites, but I don't feel confident like I would've, if we were facing Ajax.

Kane is going to play like a madman. He is the type of player that would feel like he owe his team a big performance for getting him to this stage. If Spurs can get back Winks as well, they have a good chance.

However, there is no way that I don’t see Spurs utilizing the Spanish Fellaini. Liverpool will score and Spurs will chase them like they did against Ajax. It is hard to predict who will win. I believe the game will be won by who is more clinical in front of goal. This is Harry Kane moment to shine.

A CL cup before Arsenal get one. Arsenal would hate us more than Spurs for life.

Watching the highlights of tonight's game. I think the Spurs have overachieved and will be found out in the final. Liverpool won't collapse like Barça and Ajax.

Hope I'm wrong and their own "Chelsea 2012 black magic blind luck" winning streak continues...

Just two years ago this would have been a ridiculous final to predict. Even at the start of the season you certainly wouldn't have guessed Spurs to make the final, fair enough Liverpool. They were both close to going out of the group stages as well.

Worst result for Arsenal fans. Hate both teams but Pool is the lesser evil they've already won the CL in their history. Imagine next year if there's an all English Semis.

Am I the only one who thinks Spurs play better without Kane. They should start Moura and Son up front.

When the final losing specialist force comes up against the irresistible bottlers, the outcome is phenomenally immeasurable.

The correct assessment. You are the favourites, but it's a one-off game and with Kane likely back who knows.

The teams Arsenal have had and the success they had from 1997-2004 and (hopefully) Spurs are the first North London team to lift ol' big ears? That would be quite hilarious.

60/40 in Liverpool's favour imo. Anything can happen in a one off game. Reckon it could be a fiery contest.

I had a bet on Spurs to qualify pre game and they were 5/2. Would imagine they'd have been over 20/1 at half time so add in Liverpool being around that price at kick off last night so nice double for the punters who constantly bet on football miracles.

They come off from time to time. It's just trying not to get into too many overdrafts to reap the rewards.:rolleyes:

No way I'm watching this. If Ajax were on the final I would consider it, I'm just going to go play a nice game of tennis and forget this is ever happening.

I think Klopp will choke this wave Spurs will win *cringe*

Arsenal never really convinced in europe under Wenger and just became a punchbag in his last years for Barca and Bayern Munich in the knock outs.

Their run to final in 2006 final was pretty good though before they ran into a very strong Barca team. Even then they had chances to win it. That was their year and haven't come close since.

My Mother follows them and she's quickly off to renew her passport and go out of this country for three months if Spurs win it.

Yeah, Arsenal would barely get through the groups in those days when they were thoroughly excellent. I remember that great Valencia side knocking them out twice - once in the group, once in the quarters. Felt Arsenal's best UCL runs were past their best in 2006 and 2008 were we toyed with them
