How horrible a signing has Meunier been? Not in great form heading into the UCL match v Lazio, where he proceeds to give the ball away next to his box for the first goal, then miss an absolute sitter when they were 2-0 down.

The scoreline was 3-1 but Dortmund could've easily tied it had they taken their chances, though Lazio had plenty in the first half themselves, overall just a horrible defensive performance overall by Dortmund. The ease with which the midfield and wing backs were being bypassed by Lazio was infuritating to see. Didn't help that they had a 35 yr old RB and a nothing more than decent DM as two of their CBs as well, Hummels was a lone saviour for them at times (though he made one glaring error as well).

Whoever won the game
UCL should keep Final 8 format as long as crowds are not allowed. No point keeping away goal rule in empty stadia.

City will easily crush us tonight, we're dreadful.
Pray for Pepe and Corona to save us.

Something doesn't feel right with the sun shining at the stadium during a Champions League game.

That ground is a bit small time for Real frankly. Also, they look like the Real Madrid of the Robinho and Baptista years again. No x-factor player.

Kinda crazy in a way Modric is still running around at 35. But then you look at Ronnie, Ibra, Buffon etc and it makes you realize that playing deep into their 30s is probably not gonna be that unusual anymore.

Madrid not looking good. Some crisp but ultimately aimless football they're playing.

Donetsk should really be 1 or 2 up.

That little 20 year old Shaktar midfielder is very impressive.

Marcos Antonio something. Tiny dynamo.

Shakhtar fairly take the lead.

Madrid will struggle to get out of the group if they play at this level, they need Benzema on the pitch

Why is Varane so average without Ramos?

The commentator just listed the Shakthar players that are missing through injury and there are about six of them.

With this thing of playing without public the players are getting rid of some good whistles, which they deserve for a long time

Madrid are a complete mess. One of the worst lineups I’ve seen them put out for years!
