that attempted ball in just sums up Schalke, a pathetic excuse for a champions league side. They show up, they drop their shorts, they bend over, they receive it.

Choupo-Moting scuffs a very good shooting chance wide... Schalke threatened on the break, but their DF is so error-prone it's incredible

Close effort there, offside but Schalke can get at Real tonight.

Bale getting a bit of stick, unwarranted IMO.

I'm watching but I can't say I'm overly interested in tonight's game.

Even worse that it already seems to have turned into a "let's talk about Bale as much as possible" session on ITV.

Madrid's defence is all over the place tonight. Yet another awful start to a game.

Schalke having a good start. Still think Madrid will win this comfortably.

Odd. Porto keeper just knocked out his own defender. Looks out cold.

Horrible stuff on the replay. WTF is the keeper doing?!

Off Danilo goes, replaced by our summer signing Bruno Martins Indi

schalke started well last time too. You know its only a matter of time before they leave a gaping hole and Madrid score, they wont pass up their chances like Schalke keep doing

You mean Porto's. Ridiculous from Fabiano, shouldn't even be out of the goal there, let alone knocking out Danilo.
