No 2019 Wipe (though they had 'Cunk and Other Humans on 2019' a couple of weeks back, mini-episodes adding up to about half an hour). BBC Two are showing a 'best of' compilation from the 2010-15 Wipes tomorrow night, followed by the full 2016 Wipe.

I think wipe is done, Brooker's to close to those he's making fun of.

Maybe there's a young cynic who can continue the format.

“The BBC asked me to supply a quote for the press release,” said Brooker, “which is what you’re reading now.”

I've missed these

Yeah, happy that it was on because it was brilliant but sad because it probably means it won't happen again for ages, it is just what has been missing on TV these last few years.

Really enjoyed that.

Missed screenwipe. Hopefully Brooker at least starts doing his review of the year again if we can't have regular wipes.

The Elton John bit was hilarious. How have I never seen that before?
I did unfortunately, that concert was dreadful. Won't go down in history like Live Aid etc.

Pandemic Pete for feck sake . Hancock is going to be stuck with that now.

 If anything, it's even worse listening to it in full.

The youtube comment comparing him to Vic Reeves was spot on.

Was really good, shame it's not on anymore really.

That was excellent. Elton John must be fuming.
Was an awful version. in fairness to him though reading his book he seems to take criticism pretty well and laugh it off most the time, decent read actually even if not a massive fan of his.

The Elton John bit was amazing, he sounds like he's singing after having his back teeth pulled.

That was... Uncomfortable

The whole thing was brilliant. Not necessarily an easy task to make a satirical show about an ongoing crisis, but it actually worked really well.

"Looks like Tintin who'd aged rapidly after watching his dog drown"
