He is still searching when Chelsea acted like twats towards academic players. Don't worry he will come with something no one heard before.

@Kentonio said supposedly Abraham being prima dona then thread picked up on that.
I heard he was apparently being difficult and a bit of a prima donna (in the clubs opinion) about the contract situation, not about a transfer. As a result the club are happy to move him on rather than giving him what he wanted. Any potential transfer is a completely different issue.

Any chance of Havertz being deployed as a false 9 if Chelsea can't lure Haaland for this season? I reckon he could be a beast in that role.

Looks like Arsenal have gone full strength whiles we still testing out our potential squad options. Ruben and Cho really need to grab this game by the nuts if they want to stake claims in the first XI when season starts.
Also looks like a very attacking line up from us. Tuchel probably testing out Pulisic and CHO as wing backs to see if it can actually work against a strong opponent. It might solve a few issues with game time for both players in the 3-4-3 system. Should make for an interesting game.

It's pre season so wouldn't read anything in to it.

Good to see us play after break and fans in the ground though.

Amazing somebody got paid to design this new Chelsea Shirt. Is this their kit for the season or a one-off with the yellow stripe?

Lovely finish from Havertz.

Chelsea have got in behind with Werner at least 3 times now

Jesus, Werner's finishing is abysmal. Definition of pace merchant.

Watch him score now

Smith Rowe just hit the post. Decent game this

 It really is. Such a clumsy looking player when he's on the ball; completely lacks composure and tries to rush everything. Still, he seems to be causing chaos for Arsenal.

Ziyech hitting the post with a nice strike

A new bread of footballers! Athletes making it now with limited finishing skills. The likes of Welbeck, Inaki Williams, Braithwaite, Werner and so on.
Would be fun to see somebody like Jan Molby or the amazing Le Tissier playing in today's game. Practically impossible these days because of the speed of the game.

5th stand or ChelseaFC website and it is a charity event so £7.99

entertaining first half. Arsenal is going to have some players with sore ankles. There could have more fouls called and a penalty.

Zouma is in the weeds a little, the trade talks must be getting in his head.

It's a friendly. Why would they bother?

Also, Pepe was offside in the build up so justice was done.
I mean it's at the Emirates, everything is already installed, that's just a watch and a switch to turn on but fair enough, didn't see Pepe was off.

If Tuchel gets Drinkwater playing well in midfield for the European Champions, he's officially the best manager ever.
The 15/16 version of Drinkwater would be perfect as CM4 to keep the seat warm for Billy, however with the few years he has had its just too big a gamble.

Another one bites the dust.

No word of a buy-back, sell-on or any other future clauses yet.

There's a buy back and a sell on clause.

Never seen the lad play but would bite your hand off for him after Bellerin's cameo yesterday. :houllier:

P. S. Don't think Pepe was offside on the images I seen. ;)
