I agree. I am not hopeful with our two party system. It seems to bring forth the worst choices possible. I voted for Johnson in 2016 thinking with these two clowns running getting 5% of the vote was a lock to establish a third party so we were not going to have such extreme choices. When he only received 3%, I about want to give up. I keep voting, but it is discouraging for sure.
Hah I voted for Johnson as well but did so because I lived in New York at the time and swapped my vote with someone in Colorado who agreed to vote for Hillary.

feck this guy, needs to leave the club. Beyond idiotic. An autobiography at age 24 where he's bitching about the circumstances surrounding his only trophy of note.

Also he couldn't have known Tuchel was getting sacked when he started "writing" this yet he planned on releasing it to capitalise on the World Cup regardless? Absolutely pathetic and should be getting far more stick than Lukaku did last year. Never want to see him in a Chelsea shirt again personally.
Being the best American player… which I don’t think he is anyway… is not exactly the high bar of footballing achievement.

My biggest gripe on Pulisic, and this isn’t really his fault, but that entitlement is drilled into them. In the US, you become a soccer Prospect by knowing the right people and/or spending great deals of money. He is an emblematic symbol of that to me. We (the US) will never be as competitive as we could be until that whole thing changes.

As a Chelsea fan? Well, he’s not good enough to warrant putting up with him as a distraction. People are enamored of the marketing a truly good American could bring in… BUT he isn’t that.

Ok, if they leave because of this then they are stupid. I know the surgeons they sent Fofana to. They are WAY beyond Chelsea’s medical staff in terms of experience, skill, and even resources. There is a difference between being a doctor, and being at the top of your field.

Americans go to TOP level specialists for opinions on rare injuries and long term outlook all the time.

Two party systems are inherently a form of control. By providing only two options, most voters will effectively have to compromise on half or more of what they believe in to choose a candidate.

And that key issue they DO vote based on will inherently be something emotional, but ultimately unimportant, and easy to use to manipulate, like abortion rights, climate change, etc. It makes mobs very easy to manipulate, and then later you can do just about whatever you want in areas like defense, tax structure, fiscal trade policy, etc … that actually matter.

until people put more weight behind primaries and involvement in local politics most of that won’t change.

Makes you wonder what’s been going on at Chelsea all this time.
Based on how the new owners let go most of the marketing department and other positions almost immediately after buying the team, I would say not so nice things.

Yes it does seem that way doesn’t it. wonder if we will ever find out?
I am not sure anyone is really in a position to write a tell all book. I imagine we will hear bits and pieces that are never confirmed.

According to L'equipe, Fofana will be out for 4 weeks after that knee injury last night. Sigh. Rotten luck.

Their squad feels pretty meh all around but Reece James I have to say is probably my favourite right back around. He's absolutely fantastic as a footballer and a beast as a right back, all round. He's their golden egg IMO.

Probably about the best case scenario given the way he went down.
Yeah I hear that, there were some fears last night about a possible ACL but still he was just getting started, now he has to rehab for for 4 weeks and then feel his way back into match fitness/form again.

Yeah he's pretty clearly our best player. Thiago Silva just behind him though.

Yeah very true. Though he did well coming back for Leicester last year after the broken leg, so hopefully he can do the same. Some regular minutes for Chalobah wouldn't be the worst thing, or I could see Cucurella coming back in at CB for a spell.

Shame he misses our busy period. Probably won’t see him until after WC.

As long as we don't get any other CB injuries it will be fine. I think potter will play with a back 4 regularly so we can rote our 3 CBs for those 2 positions and when we play a back 3 we have the option of playing James or Cucurella in one of the 3.

He is really using his body well to protect the ball and seeing the pitch much better. Last year he was really only seeing what was directly in front of him. He has an opportunity right now and he is making the most of it. He may never develop into a worldie, but he has the skill and physicality to be a very productive starter.

If he can consistently play like he did yesterday then he will come in clutch for the December games. I don’t expect him to be in the England squad but Kante, Jorginho and Kovacic are all likely to go. He should be relatively fresh in comparison to them..

Likely to go as in leave or likely to go as in to the World Cup?

better than tail end of last season. Never was a massive fan, but he is so strong on the ball and a good dribbler. He has come on a lot. Whereas IMHO Mount has gone backwards overall id say. Might be burn out, not sure. Just been way below par

Potter need to rotate lot for upcoming matches. That s real test for him. He tried back four against palace. But for Milan he went back to back three. Will be interesting with Kante return from injury how he set the team up.

I think he's been one of our top performers this season, maybe only bettered by Silva and James. It's taken him a while to show the kind of confidence in his own ability that he showed under Sarri before the achilles injury struck him down. I'd be happy if he didn't go to the WC, selfishly, but he could be a unique weapon for England to have in the squad.

So this guy bought Werner back from Chelsea, sold Nkunku to Chelsea and then got himself sacked so he could go to Chelsea? Lifelong Chelsea fan I bet
