Chelsea 2025-26 - Worldwide losingest team of the 2025-26 season

Just watched the rerun of the match( can’t watched live unfortunately), it is evident/obvious that Chelsea planned an almost flawless tactical details to effectively counter this scary PSG. Maraca’s tactical details in this game must be called “the masterclass”.

It isn't mate, come on

I mean, I too was sceptical prior to the tournament starting and thought it would be this huge shitshow but the longer it went on the clearer it got that everyone who actually took part was taking it very seriously. And when you have a tournament with that many big clubs clearly giving it their best go it gets harder and harder to belittle it.

Like the Europa League, FA Cup etc. it's one of those competitions where as a fan you're not really all that bothered if your team gets knocked out relatively early on but the further you get the more invested you become. And by the time the final came around, I'd have been very disappointed to lose it.

And like I said, that's just my personal opinion about the different competitions and how they rank next to each other, anyone else is free to disagree.

Big truth

Posting Goldbridge just shows fans football IQ. a Nottingham Forest fan who thinks he knows it all.

You are judging Clearlake after 3 seasons and INEOS after 1 year in charge...

Go back to Year 1 of Clearlake when they were all over the place.

1. INEOS have spent billions to buy a share of the club and invested 250m cash into the club.
2. Glazers are cash cows, we know that.
3. If the regeneration project costs 2bn... the club values at say £6bn... they wont get £10bn for the club.

Wish I'd seen this before the match. Would have calmed the nerves I had.

2 BN people world wide viewed the tournament infantino said before the final. If that's true then tournament is a grand success.
That figure is probably the sum of all the audience figures for the 64 games, not the number of unique viewers.

I think the best thing about this is all the stats guys / tacticos are in the mud. Can't wait to hear the transfer flow podcast and the hoops they have to jump through to justify Chelsea are actually still in chaos and how Arsenal and Pool are the best run organizations in the universe.

Lots of of posters are complaining of feeling sick when they read the thread title
If they feel sick just by reading a thread title, I can't imagine how ill they must become whilst watching Amorimball.

We upgraded the squad in three areas strikers, am/wingers and midfield. We will be okay in my opinion for getting into top 4 next season. Three weeks mandatory rest likely for players and two friendlies. We may start slowly in league campaign but will catch up.
Yeah, that's what I said that you are going to struggle in the earlier part of the season. We'll see how far it leaves you behind. Top 4 also depends on how other clubs do. Liverpool, Arsenal and City are certs, imo. Then there is also a surprise team which pulls above it weight. There will be 3-4 teams competing for that 4th spot.imo.

Who the feck is this player and why do they want 40m for him. This club is fecking shady from top to bottom.

Spent last season on loan at Juventus and showed a lot of promise. Now, quite a few huge clubs are showing serious interest in him because they see him as a potential top class defender in the future.

Tbh, I’d bring him back and use him. We have zero cover for Cucurella currently.

Played 33 games for us and Juventus last season. Just 21 with a lot of potential.

Just because we’re asking for £35m doesn’t mean we’ll get it. I think £20-30m is a reasonable fee and not dodgy at all

He's reacting like that because he doesn't personally know the player, which is more his problem than anything else.

Signing Xavi Simons it seems.

Another number 10?

Are they moving Palmer back to the right?

Joao Pedro also played lots of football for Brighton just off Welbeck.

Or Simons is some sort of Joao Felix PSR move....I dunno.

You feel Chelsea are on the right track now after a turbulent three years but they certainly have signing OCD when it comes to constantly getting players in positions where they're already stacked.

Would probably challenge for the league if they showed this type of urgency with the keeper and CB.

Our CB’s may not be title winning standard at the moment but as a group we’re solid there. We were very strong defensively to end the season and throughout the CWC. Colwill has improved massively in recent months.

Keeper is the only position that’s a genuine concern now. The club is probably hoping and banking on Penders doing exactly what Petrović just did and killing it on loan at Strasbourg and then returning here a year from now as our new #1.
