I find the writing off of City and the propping up of Chelsea kind of strange. What makes Chelsea more likely to challenge for the league than City, who have a relatively freshened squad who have all now experienced a title race to the end (for their newer players), plus they best pure striker in the world.
None of Chelsea's players have been involved in title races besides the seniors they signed last week. And there's not that big a gulf in quality between the managers to make up for City who still have the superior players and squad.
Freshened squad? They've lost Bernado Silva, are about to lose Rodri and have replaced Guardiola with Maresca.
I like Elliot Anderson but they're worse off by some distance than they were this time last season.
