What should the transfer be voted on? This is ridiculous. As for Chairman's understanding football, none of the ones at least in the PL know anything about it.
Good Chairmans let someone else run the club.
When Zidane was offered to Blackburn, wasn't it their Chairman who said why do we need him when we have Tim Sherwood?
So if Gary Neville had the chance to Veto, then that is ridiculous?? More Ridiculous then Ed Woodward Running roughshod.

The supporter advisors will not have any voting rights and will not participate in any meetings relating to players, staff, the Academy and related matters.

What exactly is left for these supporter advisors to give input on? Seems a PR exercise or an attempt to make some minor changes before it is forced on them.

I think this could be viewed as positive.

Not getting into the fact that Chelsea are symptomatic of one of the two contrasting but equally negative aspects of ownership blighting our game (the Glazers and similar models of ownership being the other).

PR stunt which is meaningless without formal governance change. What difference does being in the meeting make if you don't get a vote, and even in that case what difference would one vote make if the one fan is always outnumbered by the suits.

Absolutely. Gary Neville is not involved in the club in any capacity and he has no idea about what the manager wants. Are you saying that if Ole wants a player but Gary Neville can decide to veto that player? Absolutely not.
Ed Woodward has not been known to deny any player based on Footballing ability. He has a say on the financial implications.
This is exactly why fans should have no say in these matters.

Fair point. I guess I’m being devils advocate.
