Just noticed that Chelsea are without their 2 best goalscorers - Bryan Fiabema (who scored the winner in Fa Youth Cup against us), and Myles Peart-Harris who has scored 5 or 6 goals so far

Not a bad team that, we’re going to need it!

Chelsea haven't impressed that much this season, and this is probably a weaker side than they have used in previous games

Interview with Pellistri - "Edinson is always trying to be above me" ? :)

Hm....so thats how they do it in Uruguay

I’m not watching the game but my score app says we’re 2-0 down after 3 minutes. What’s going on??

Mengi has been a joke so far

Regardless of what happens for the rest of the game - he will get a 0 in rating :)

well - they usually say that the U23 and U18 should try to replicate the first-teams way of playing football - and we certainly have so far :)

Offside but that was a fantastic finish from Pellistri.

We have been equal to Chelsea - if you ignore those first 135 seconds :)

Bit better from us now but it is no fun to see our talented young players chasing ghosts for the first 15 minutes

This can end horribly bad. Defensively this is about as awful as it can get.

Sorry to ask the wrong question but which app do you have that tells you reserve team scores?
It’s called FotMob, I’ve been using it for years and it’s brilliant. You can choose which teams to follow (including women’s football), which games and leagues you get alerts from, etc. I highly recommend it.

Chelsea is still streets ahead at this level, feels like they could score a lot more

We are like Brighton in the Premier League. Play some good football, but awful in both penalty areas. Keep giving the ball away in dangerous areas. We lack presence and a clear striker in the box. We aren't effective at all. I don't know if it's a big problem for their development but it's very frustrating to watch.

the kids simply got shrugged aside by that Chelsea team in the first half

0-3 ht

ps. their keeper is lanky as feck, reminds me of WWF's Giant Gonzalez

Chelsea press very well as a team and gives our players very little time on the ball. Good learning experience for them

Getting really put to the sword here. Humbling, but big lessons to be learned.

It's really, really strange to keep playing Woolston here, isn't it? He's 22 years old, signed as a backup, it's not like he has a future here or even in professional football IMO, still he plays week in and week out.
