Reminds me a bit of Rashford's arrival to the main stage in 2015/16.

If Amorim uses him more, it will also light a fire under Hojlund to not permanently lose his place.

Short cameo but it looked like he was on the same wavelength as Xirkzee. Found the right spaces etc...More minutes please for this kid.
 
We cant play him for EL which means we wont be scoring from the forward position. Being the season is fecked Id still bench Hojlund and play Garnacho up top to see if it works.

Just play Bruno in false 9, rather than someone who's never done it...

We have an empty space we could have registered him on the premise of "Just in case" but it would seem a huge oversight on our part, he won't qualify for the B list as he hasn't been here for 2 years.

Apparently the 3 new players registered were Dorgu, Heaven and Jack Fletcher.

Seems like the new 'B List' ruling is one that isn't widely known and possibly done them over (see the post above).
 
Get him in. U18s or U21s will never prepare him for top level football. Ideally we would let him mature a bit and slowly introduce him but we're in bits and he needs to play from the start now.
 
I'm all for him starting too, despite that being quite a burden on very young shoulders. He looked like a striker where Hojlund does not though.

I don't think we should move Bruno atm, he's only forward player in any kind of form, so we should leave him where he is rather than risk disrupting him too.

You'd rather him in his unnatural position at the moment? Because that's where he's playing, in CM. When he's an AM.

Right now? I would yeah. Long term no but I'm just loathe to change one of the only things working for the team.
 
No Europa League games for Obi but should get some minutes in league until the end of the season. We're most probably safe regarding relegation so only point is trying to get as many points as possible. Hojlund hasn't scored for so long so Obi getting some of his minutes wouldn't make any harm.

Wouldn't Fletcher have been B-list eligible?

You'd think the club would have staff on hand to figure out these rules, but we probably sacked them already.

We signed him in July 2023 so presume no if it has to be 2 full years they've been with the club

I don’t think he should be starting any games and I would let him have a few games for the u21. Then bring him back into the first team for 30mins.

His development should be more important than rescuing the senior team.
 
I have a feeling that he will change our fortune in the league not because he is great but just because he does well enough the basics of what a number 9 should be doing.

A shame he can’t play in Europe but needs to start some league games, definitely.
 
Shown he has something, even if his finishing was a bit off. He impacted the game which is something our first team strikers aren't capable of doing on a regular basis (if at all)

He should definitely get more opportunities between now and May.

Going by recent history we will run him into the ground and by age 19 caf will want him sold
 
Considering the Zirkzee injury you'd imagine he is almost certain to get game time at least from the bench for the rest of the season.

If we go through vs Lyon then surely he plays the league games and Hojlund European.

Huh? Unless I missed something he only got the ball a couple times, showing good hold up play on one occasion. He didn’t see a lot of the ball but there wasn’t really anything to criticise.
 
We spent so much to get one not able to do a hold-up play like Obi can easily do.
