Turnover not takeover
He's nowhere near PL ready, but some higher-level game time on loan makes a lot of sense
Can he play on the left?
We should be developing him towards a 20m+ sale through loans in markets where he can make a name for himselfAs usual, United have no plan for their youth prospects. Anyway, Obi won't be at United much longer.
Yeah United have no clue about youth development at allAs usual, United have no plan for their youth prospects. Anyway, Obi won't be at United much longer.
I don't see any Championship side taking him loan to give him the games he needs. would most likely just be back-up.I’d have preferred a championship loan for him.
One thing he needs to work on primarily is his strength - feel the championship would be perfect for that development
Preston were in for him earlier in the window and they were desperate for a striker.I don't see any Championship side taking him loan to give him the games he needs. would most likely just be back-up.
Dutch League to Championship might be better for his development.

The first aim of developing youth players is to get them to the first team, of course that's not always going to happen but thata should be the priority, not developing them with the aim of gettying 20m+ for them, I agree this is a good loan for him, he needs to play at a higher level than the U21's and get games rather than being a bench option at a Championship clubEither is good. This loan will hopefully get him plenty of minutes in an easier league. Hopefully he stays injury free and gets lots of chances to impress
Seems like a done deal.
Makes the above posts about not having a plan for him quite clueless but it is what it is.
Does a deadline day loan really show a huge plan? Not sure how that makes any criticism clueless when he’s sat around for the past month doing nothing.
Willem II have already played nearly 10% of their league matches. It could easily take a match or two to be eased in too and suddenly he’s missed a good chunk of the season. Is that a sign of a good plan? Why wasn’t a loan sorted when he dropped out of the first team pre-season over a month ago?
There is also the fact they have their own young striker who has scored 2 in 3 so far this season and scored 19 last season. Is he just suddenly getting dropped to the bench for the entire season?
Random loans on deadline day which have historically been a mixed bag at best for us, makes posts about a lack of planning completely viable.
Take those off and take another 3 to ease in and he'll still have 28 games to play in the league alone. That's good.I have my doubts as to whether he will be good enough. But, if he does happy days. If not we should be looking at pushing 20m for himWe should be developing him towards being a member of our first team
I suspect that he would have stayed if Zirkzee had goneDoes a deadline day loan really show a huge plan? Not sure how that makes any criticism clueless when he’s sat around for the past month doing nothing.

I very much doubt that as they sold Osmajic and brought in three strikers.Preston were in for him earlier in the window and they were desperate for a striker.
He would’ve got significant game time there

It isn’t dramatic at all. The question is about planning. Missing 10-20% of the season is a sign of bad planning. It certainly isn’t the sign of a good plan like KM is claiming. Mickson is completely right to question our history of deadline day loans.Such a dramatic way to look at itTake those off and take another 3 to ease in and he'll still have 28 games to play in the league alone. That's good.
He'll likely play alongside Haen, they all expect him to start.

I find that highly doubtful. He hasn’t been involved with the u21s and was dropped from the first team training over a month ago. He has had no part in the first team at all. If it was like Amass then he’d have been training with them but he hasn’t.I suspect that he would have stayed if Zirkzee had gone
So how does it show planning? Why wasn’t he loaned earlier? It’s his first loan move ever, sounds like a good plan would be to loan him early and allow him to settle in. Not wait until deadline day. Or no you think the club had this all planned out but it was Chido himself who chose to play no games for the past month?Oh no, they have already 3 out of 34 matches. How will he even gametime there?
It’s his first loan move ever, there’s this scenario of him looking at possible avenues before making a final call. Clubs also present an option to players where they’d like to play on loan.
