Apparently they've also agreed a takeover to a group of businessman headed by the owner of Eastleigh.

Wonder if anything will go wrong from that......

Sunderland's clearly a poisoned chalice but not to the extent that they should finish 7 points behind Burton. Be interesting to see if he can do anything with Ipswich if the rumours about him going there are true, might have to go down the foreign route again if it goes badly there.

All I'll say is good luck to whoever succeeds him. It'd be a great boost to the ego of the manager who got Sunderland up and running but who would want the job?

Great response, I can add you to my ignore list now
Do not. Steve J is basically why you joined the caf. You just don't know it yet.

Besides you deserved it!

Fergie couldn't save this lot, they have been living on borrowed time for way to long ..

When else have I been wrong?

Ha ha yeah I know. I did say quote me though so was asking for it really.

Think he's a good coach mind but yeah it's not worked out at all.
Yeah I like him too. Seems like a decent bloke as well. Wrong move for him though.

I like him for obvious reasons but taking that job was a truly moronic decision. Everyone could see Sunderland were in dire straits, he should never have gone there. Happy for them though, shite club and fans.

Wow. They've sacked a useless manager, paid off all the debt and sold the club to new owners. Quite the day for them.

One of the most puzzling career decisions in recent times. Normally when you see a house on fire, you walk away from it, not through the front door.

Unless you’re a Fireman, not a Coleman.

Good point. When you see his name, you'd think "you bring water to fire, not coal, ffs".

I know the spelling is different, but the joke doesn't work otherwise. :(

The fans that did the poznan to United on that day deserve this and much more. I'm happy for them.

The rest of their fans have been badly shafted by the powers that be.

I won't miss them one bit.

Will go down as one of the most bizarre decisions to quit Wales to go there.

Said before but if he'd waited two more weeks the West Brom and Swansea jobs would've been available and he'd have been a strong contender for both.

Now his stock will be much lower so not sure where he'll pop up next.
Someone like West Ham might take a punt if they get rid of Moyesy.

Sunderland had the 13th biggest debt in Europe but apparently it’s all been paid off by the ex owner? That’s a pretty big chunk to just write off.

Oh how will I ever live...I've blocked a random poster on an internet forum
Steve already knew what you posted, hence the "Well, duh..."
The fact that you seem to have taken exception to that, to the point where you've put him on ignore, is fecking hilarious.
