I hate most Christmas songs but there are a few exceptions. So what are your favorite and most hated?

A couple of the many I hate

I hate this song and adding Beeber makes it so much worse.

Another major Christmas steamer

And the bizarre

The Peace on Earth part was written specially as Bowie hated Litte Drummer Boy.

That Pogues song can go take a running jump. fecking awful.
I like both of those.

One thing I have noticed this year, and it's surprising it's taken this long, is that Slade's song is pretty awful. It's still a classic and I like shouting 'IIIIIIIIIIIIIT'S CHRIIIIIIIIIIIISSSTMAAAASSSS' at the end but it's a real dirge.

I've also got some love for this one:

The McCartney one is the worst. Irredeemable garbage that sounds like it was shat out in ten minutes.

Not really into Christmas songs but don't mind a couple of Elvis one's such as Blue Christmas and Santa bring my baby back. In fact the old Elvis Christmas album is pretty decent all round for the festivities.

Some my favourite older songs.

Tino Rossi - Minuit chrétien https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O_Holy_Night :

Jennifer Avalon - We Three Kings of Orient Are https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We_Three_Kings

Nana Mouskouri - Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht (silent night) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silent_Night

And two versions of one of the oldest surviving carols, Entre le boeuf et l'âne gris (Between the Ox and the Grey Ass), written somewhere between the 13th and 16th centuries:

This one? Pretty shit and good at the same time
That's it! Been trying to think of the name for about a week now as someone else asked me, and I felt like a twat humming it to them.
