Christopher Nkunku | AC Milan agree £36m deal

Talented but no one seems to know how to unlock him and he's now 25. He will keep having a middling career I feel

I agree.

t was like with Cantona. He was always an oddball everywhere he went. But SAF landed up unlocking his personality and enabling him to express himself and be who he wanted to be.

If we fail to get anyone this window, it will be best if Ruben just slowly eases some of the kids from the Academy into the team. He has nothing to lose at this point.

If we fail to get anyone today after letting three attackers go that's complete negligence from INEOS

The nails in the INEOS coffins are beginning to add up if that was the case.

At some point I am sure Ruben will throw in his 'I will resign if we lose XXXX' like he did at his previous club.

Lovely end to the window losing 2 forwards without replacing them on an already undermanned front line...

I would have taken him on loan in January as we desperately needed attackers. But now we shouldn’t be anywhere near him especially with Cunha and most likely Mbeumo coming.

This is exactly the profile of player we should be avoiding. Chelsea supposedly value him at £35m, he has 4 years left on his Chelsea deal, turns 28 in November, seems consistently injured and hasn't really performed in a Chelsea shirt.

Hope this is simply noise.

It was a crap idea in January and it's an even worse idea now.

Hopefully this is all just wishful thinking from Chelsea's side, Matt Law is their mouthpiece afterall.

Seems like the kind of PSR jiggerypokery that gives Sir Big Jim hard nipples.

Why would we spend 35m on a 28 year old, injury prone Cunha backup who has had two seasons in the PL and shown nothing?

Because "We can do things in the transfer market that other clubs can only dream of".

I'd have him competing with Mount for a spot as one of the 10s behind the CF half the time, with the other half competing with Mount for a spot on the physio table. On a free, on low wages. With a full fee for Garnacho in return.

Loan fine. Or Garna for Nkunku and a meaty fee.

No idea if he's over the injuries but we need to learn from mount.

Yeah if 50m is also coming the other way with him
Yeo it’s Nkunku plus £50m or not at all!

This reeks of a Vivell signing and this one won’t work, we are back in pre season on 7th July and we have not shifted any players out yet, priority is sign Mbeumo, then get Sancho, Antony and Garnaucho Sold asap.

When it comes to making huge financial mistakes then yes!

Yes please. More and more positionally ambiguous players. Sell every winger we can to fill the squad with them.

This rumour made sense in January when we were desperate to get an attacker in on loan.

As a permanent deal in the summer? For a significant fee? Absolutely not.

We seem to always get linked to this guy…god I hope he’s not the striker we end up with. He's had a complete nightmare at Chelsea with both injuries and form we aren’t in a position to ‘fix’ players at the moment

Rather keep Rasmus and he’s one of the worst strikers in the Prem
