Christopher Nkunku

Why does this keep popping up? I don't get it. These signings have to be purely accounting dodginess because on pitch performances are not the reason, similarly to Joao Felix going to Chelsea.

After Mount and all the sick notes we have, I'll say a big no to this.

Haven't been keeping track. Used to look really good, got injured. Has he lost it now?
Just hasn't been able to stay fit at Chelsea, IF we already had a quality squad then maybe I wouldn't be against a permanent deal but that's not the case

I can only see this happening as some kind of sweetener if they come in for Garnacho.

I don't think they will though, and even then it should only be a loan with an option for Nkunku.

Yeah loan with option or nothing

Wouldn’t be against a similar move to the Sancho deal last season. I think he suits Amorim’s system a lot more than the attackers were trying to offload this summer. We don’t have a great track record of nurturing injury prone players though

Our record isn't great, but hopefully we're getting better at it. Mazraoui was a crock before he came to us and was somehow kept available for pretty much the whole season.

He hadn't played 30 league games in a season since 2016-17 before last year.

To be fair, getting Garnacho's attitude out might make it worth it if Nkunku was coming as back-up striker to someone better.

Christ on a Bike.
This is the very definition of stupid.
Bring back Ed Woodward...

True. De Ligt still managed to miss 10 games last season, Mount missed 23 and Shaw managed to miss 62 including England games. Can we afford another gamble like that in a position where we’ve already got one injury prone player?

MEN saying there is no interest from Utd. Its Chelsea wanting Garnacho and wanting to offload Nkunku.

Club should be asking for cold hard cash from Chelsea not their cast offs. Set a price of £70 million. They clearly have a need after the Mudryk ban.

If we can get £30m for him, I'd be dancing in the streets. You're welcome to him.

And this is what happens when you don’t observe the new guidelines. First and last warning

Obviously I thought it was directly from the player or I wouldn’t have linked it. But are you suggesting we can’t even link tweets directly from players? Think they’re better than any tier 1 source, so you might want to add that to your “guidelines”

Not if people can’t tell the difference

I think he will end up at Bayern. Will be a success as well :) Just needs to stay injury free and will then be a great player.
For sure much more potential then Gnabry or Tel.

Don´t really understand why you guys dont want him. Flop at Chelsea... so what, who didnt flop there.

I thought he was a great player at Leipzig, I always had him in my Champions League fantasy team. Doesn't seem the same player at Chelsea, don't know if that's his fault or Chelsea's. Can he get back his Leipzig form is the question.

Yeah I would have serious doubts over that

Have you seen the list of players we bought from Chelsea? Might as well throw 400m on Sterling while we're at it.
