Schmeichel's Cartwheel
Correctly predicted Italy to win Euro 2020
Accept*Leeds, Liverpool every single promotion candidate in the country will not except that.
Leicester wouldn’t be happy either. Spurs on the other hand would be thrilled.

If it meant Liverpool not winning the league, I'd chuck in an extra £50So if you won the lottery yesterday, a £100m jackpot lets say, and then the National Lottery suddenly announce this afternoon that they are withholding all money and instead donating the entirety to help research into coronavirus vaccine. You;d accept it in a socially-conscious manner?
TrueIf it meant Liverpool not winning the league, I'd chuck in an extra £50
Not even a question any real Utd fan needs to consider for a second.
If you know you know.
Imagine Fergie's answer to this FFS.
Do I look as if I’m a masochist ready to cut myself? How does relegation sound instead?
That's very narrow minded. Our team is young and needs CL experience and exposure. It also benefits us off field and in the transfer market to be in the CL.We aren't winning CL anyway so what's the point of playing in it?
Liverpool losing the title it is then.
To avoid making it messy? The best way to avoid that is to cancel and void it. You can't simply restart this one in 5 months. What about Ighalo's loan? And transfers? It just doesn't work.To avoid messy situations, whenever football continues, this season would need to be finished first. Even if it is 5 months from now, the priority would be to finish this season. Start a new one giving a months break in between. Possibly cancel Carabao Cup and use those timeslots for additional PL games to complete the season in time.
To answer the OP, anything for Pool to not be given the title. If they don’t win this one, it might shake their belief towards ever winning one. As it is, CL football isn’t guaranteed for us. We still had to perform consistently over the last 9 games or win the CL.
And what to do with others then? I don't think that other 19 teams (and their fans) give a damn about Liverpool and what Liverpool deserve.Liverpool deserve the title this year and should be recognized.
This, can't agree moreAnything to prevent a Liverpool title, short of us winning the CL, is worth it.
50 enough to buy a bottle of champagne? I bet GN will have a swimming pool of champagne, throw in a few model if mrs allows. If it meant Liverpool not winning the league, I'd chuck in an extra £50
If FA announce VOID decision in May, this is probably the case, as they are not giving every club and player a fair chance. let's say they wait and wait until June, when UK alone are losing the plot like Italy, so you think FA can force clubs to play even when 10K citizens are hospitalised? In fact, you will run out of hospital beds soon, someone might ask whether you can reconfigure stadium as temporarily quarantined zone.Cancelled Season, Null & Void or Finishing As it stands are all things that on a computer game but in real life that’s just not feasible or really going to happen.
- Liverpool being crowned champions or not is the big point people seem to be making but in reality is the smallest of issues.
- There’s no way any team with a mathematical chance of achieving a something this season will simply accept it and will sue the FA/Premier League for making the decision not to finish this season and just cancelling. CL is worth around £50m, clubs will not let that go. Neither will say West Brom if they aren’t promoted to PL when it’s looks certain they will.
- Sponsors & TV Right.canceling season rather than delay means these aren’t fulfilled, would they want clubs to pay money back? What about clauses? Man Utd’s Addidas deal drops if we don’t get CL this season. If season is cancelled, it’ll likely get dropped, United have a case against FA/PL. Other clubs may be in similar situation.
- Tiny Tiny issue, would a void season mean all player stats get reverted to season start? Wouldn’t that mess up clauses in contracts with add ons and bonuses?
- Clubs finances won’t be null and void for the past 9 months, and not allowing clubs to chance of CL place, Survival, Promotion etc. Could place some clubs in precarious finance position because of a FA/Decision not to finish the season .
- Players Contacts & ages won’t have frozen a year, however every club will essentially get put 1 season back
- For anyone who feels clubs would just have to take it on the chin, and accept human life is more important than business & finances, once this is done they’re be firmly back tobe concerned about finances & a Cancelled Season rather than delayed end causes far more lasting implications & opens up a a can or worms for Court cases against FA/PL than scheduling issues and 1/2 years of getting season to get back to normal timing.
Lets not forget Cardiff went to court because even though they had signed a player, we’re trying to get out of paying £5m for a player who tragically died in a plane accident. These clubs aren’t going to take a perceived £50m+ Shortfall on the chin.
For me I just can’t see how a Null/Void/Early Finished Season could be a real option in 2020
Note. I wrote this on my phone, whilst on a train. It could be littered with typos or sentences that don’t make sense. I’ll edit later if there are
You understand that FA and UEFA are not the same organisations? And UEFA won't really give a shit about England's tough situations with deciding, which clubs do qualify and lose money because of it. If European football would be a possibility in the next season from public health perspective, it would go on, UEFA aren't going to lose hundreds of millions of euros just because it's inconvenient to the domestic leagues.Think if the season gets cancelled, they should do a year without champions league/Europa league and just avoid the rest. Yeah Liverpool have all but wrapped up the title, but how could anyone give them the title before it's done, when the top 4 race is so up for grabs (hence cancel European competition for a season), but also relegation and promotion being such a big fight right now?
You’re a fricking sadist man . I can’t even think of ever going through that again.I take Europa League, Moyes, Fellaini and Bastian for a year and another quarantine just to see Liverpool losing the EPL title. I am ready to live in quarantine for 2 years if that means I never see Liverpool win the league again
And there is the problem with voiding the season completely. It makes a complete farse of everything. Arsenal are a mid table side and were knocked out of Europe by Olympiacos. Rewarding them for that would not only be ridiculous but would almost certainly result in court challenges from United, Wolves, City etc.And that team is Arsenal.
Deserve means nothing in sport. Either you won it or you didn't and Liverpool haven't. Even Klopp has been emphasising that in every post match interview.Liverpool deserve the title this year, clearly the better team
But it will make me smile if they don't get an official title.
Rawk will be the place of fun forever.
Mikel Arteta currently has the virus; but he should arise like Lazarus to take charge of his team & just get over it.Much as I hate the Scousers, cancelling the season at this stage is silly.
The easiest solution would be for clubs to get over themselves and just play behind closed doors.
In the words of Boris ‘let’s just get this thing done’.
It is going to be ten times worse in April than it is now.Mikel Arteta currently has the virus; but he should arise like Lazarus to take charge of his team & just get over it.
What a load of macho nonsense.
They’ll push through the games come April cause money talks but playing behind closed doors isn’t really the answer when one of the managers will have just given it to his team who in turn would likely give it to their opponents.
You’ve decided you wanted to have a go at something, so created it, and had a go at it.Mikel Arteta currently has the virus; but he should arise like Lazarus to take charge of his team & just get over it.

Yes it will be but I feel one of the major sports will attempt to push the narrative ‘behind closed doors’ is a possibility though and the greed in the Premier League is second to none.It is going to be ten times worse in April than it is now.

Yes Rozay, my post had nothing to do with your moronic statement above. The easiest solution would be for clubs to get over themselves and just play behind closed doors.

Have you seen Arsenal play? They don’t even get close enough to their opponents to infect them!Mikel Arteta currently has the virus; but he should arise like Lazarus to take charge of his team & just get over it.
