Club ownership | Senior management team talk

This. People just fell on their insane PR shit. "Best people in business", all these interviews where they are saying exactly what fans want to hear.......world class frauds.
And they fired the one person who had multiple years of experience in the role because he wasn't on board with what they had planned. Then promoted from within someone with only a year of experience but at a lower club. Half of that year being spent in the Championship.

Clown show stuff. God help us.

No wonder they are offering a 25% discount on Bournemouth tickets...Amorim has 49 points out of possible 123 points in the PL..playing football that is dire to put it mildly ..this can not go on any longer

Surely we only have to wait until 2027 for big changes at the latest?

More inept than ever aparently. Change the manager, do something! It should be common sense at this point.

It's pure negligence to keep Amorim at this point.

If you were trying to destroy the club from the inside without being sussed you wouldn't do too much different to INEOS.

They don't want to say "hey, we got the manager wrong" and sack that Portuguese fraud.
So they stick to something not working. Terrible management.

Insert Mick McCarthy gif here.

Woodward > Berrada and it’s not even close so far. The lowest we got under Ed was 7th, once.

Amorim would’ve been sacked 3 times over under his reign of terror.

Also, funny enough, accountant had better transfer record than all football people after him. I know it is comparing shit with shit but Ed's transfers worked better. Murtough was absolute disaster and INEOS record so far isn't something great too.

Yep. Appreciating it’s a Monday night near Christmas, it’s still an an unusual step for the club to have to take. Couple that with the team being booed off in consecutive home games and it’s hardly a ringing endorsement for the current state of play.

Baffled anyone is blaming Berrada for Amorim still being here, it’s clear from every interview he gives that the decision of when to sack him will be made by SJR. He’ll lose patience eventually of course but probably only when another season has been pissed away.

No joy what so ever watching United. Sir Jim and his boys have smashed the last bit of fun by keeping that fraud as manager, just to try and save their own face / job. Embarrassing.
Just finish this crap, and get to the summer please..

It has reached the point, that nobody would even question sacking Amorim. His record is awful, his methods/tactics don't change and we aren't really improving. They might even receive praise for finally making a decision, instead of fence sitting and hoping for better days, despite all the evidence telling them otherwise. Pretty much any other Premier League club would have sacked a manager like Amorim months ago.

Board is clearly content with a mid-table finish. Guess that is the new standard. And that's what we will get and doing performance wise.

None of this will change without fans action. Unfortunately, we've too much of a fanbase content with mediocrity right now for any sustained or meaningful protest against INEOS or the manager. As long as folk are buying shirts nothing will change.

Ineos has not done a good job so far but their PR is one of the best and SJR has the fans and the club pinned against the wall with still having Glazers on the board. He knows that he can use that as his leverage when fans questions him and his team. They were wrong with not sacking EtH at the end of the year, when they did, they should have gone for Tuchel or someone that has more experience. Instead, they went for Amorim a few weeks into the season. Later, when we lost the final and landed on 15th, he should have gone already. They should have a baseline that cannot be crossed no matter what circumstances and that results were way over the line. Any other clubs of our prestigues would have sacked Amorim already last season.

Well, SJR said that he would walk away if he gets abused or told that hes wrong. Fans can start showing and let him know so that might get him out now.

At this point, a Middle East come in and buy the club probably the best outcome. Ineos came in and fired lots of people that been with the clubs for years and knows and love the club, now we have a lot of new people, new things, structure and that probably not the Manchester that we want.

Lets be real, anyone that want and can buy the club are not saints and ultimately want to use the club as a vehicle for their own advantages.

Have INOES actually improved any sporting team they've taken over?? Looks like they routinely make things worse, look at what's happening in Nice. Mercedes are shite now too in F1, they took over team sky in cycling who have also declined.

"Best in class".... In ruining things

You can understand that they've heavily backed Amorim publically and he's kind of their first big risk - so they're not going to move hastily. But they're not morons either, and Big Jim is at a lot of the matches actually watching what is happening.

I maintain there's a pretty good 433 from this squad, which a new manager could literally make work tomorrow. That feels to me the biggest reason to get rid of Amorim if he won't do it. He will rightly get half a season - with all this spend - and if we're still wallowing where we are then I think they'll be sorting out the summer without him in mind.

He was clearly on his last legs a few months ago - had an admittedly decent showing which kept him in post - but the current form and performances are not going to continue that.

What do you think when you bring someone with championship experience to lead the football operation of gigantic club like ours. When we talked about it at the time, INEOS fans were screaming give them time.

Of course they will uae the oldest trick in the book... "this is a process that will take time" that will buy them the most important they need, being shit for many years without any judgement.

Take a look at Barcelona, they were at a much worse situation financially, but they couldn't sit there accepting being 15th in the name of building a team to win the league in 2028.

I am at a level now that I would take back Ed Woodward over them.

Well, Well, Well... Who would have thought it will be the Glazers that comes to their senses first. Obviously though since big money is getting involved now.

Honestly, I think they’ve got plenty of things right and are step up on the shower that came before.

They’ve made one massive mistake tying themselves so closely to Amorim and not grasping that Amorim is a very different manager to Arteta.

I cant’t Arteta but he’s adaptable and pragmatic. Amorim has one idea and if it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work.

Worst source imaginable but I take everything that fits my agenda at this stage.
And I am not at all shocked if the Glazers were the ones to call out Amorim and want him sacked rather than Jim. INEOS seem incompetent on a completely different level

This club is a fecking mess.

Obviously the Glazers are concerned about not making as many dollars, not the wellbeing of the club, but still.

As bad as the football side of things were under the Glazers , and they were bad. But things are far worse under INEOS.

We can delude ourselves into thinking there is progress been made on the football side of things , but the fact is there is not.

Every major decision INEOS have made has been a disaster , hiring and firing Ashworth to the cost of millions, keeping ETH and having to sack him mid season , then hiring such a tactically inflexible and inexperienced manger.

Ratcliffe has been correct in everything he said about the club needing to completely overhaul it's recruitment and move towards data, but other than that he's been a disaster.

In an interview Amorim said if he changed now he'd lose respect of the players which to me sounded like saying if he changed system he'd lose the dressing room. I totally disagree with this as being able to admit a mistake isn't a weakness it's a strength and the players want to win so just help them. Instead we're going to endlessly play a shite system which seems to bring the worst out of everyone just because Amorim has convinced himself chaning makes him look weak?

If Ratcliffe wants to focus on data then maybe he should look at the data on how each of these players has performed before and after Amorim, no one is doing better.

In the past yes, but it's rumored the account was bought by a group of people. In the summer it was extremely accurate with transfers and other news. More so than many other established journo's.

He was accurate with one transfer. Ornstein made a little joke and now everyone thinks he's Nostradamus.
