Joke of a club. They have wasted 10 days of the January window doing nothing, instead if focusing on bringing someone in to strengthen the team they are instead gonna interview interims the whole month.

You are not good at being poster at a football board.New York Times article -- https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6954812/2026/01/09/manager-sacked-philosophy-amorim-nancy-maresca/
The gist is, I think, that many people who manage soccer businesses aren't particularly good at their jobs -- not good at the soccer part, and not good at the business part.
I don’t like the protest at this time. There is enough wrong with the club but this gives even more turmoil. What is the point right now? I also don’t understand all the supporters of Amorim now. He was awful and should have been sacked ages ago. The board tried to support him as long as possible because they didn’t want to go back in the sack cycle, as they supported Ten Hag too long as well. Try to get some peace at the club now with Fletcher, Ole or Carrick (or all three together) till the end of the season and start again. Maybe with a new DoF first. I’m not a supporter of the board or Glazers or Jim at all, but protesting doesn’t help us any further at the moment and gives even more unrest everywhere inside and outside the club.

Awwwww. I’m so sadYou are not good at being poster at a football board.
Doesn't know the name of the game. What's with the random ad hominem attack
Talk about a Sporting Director and head of recruitment to work beneath Blanc, Brailsford & Ratcliffe.
Just starting to wonder if it might end up being too many cooks in the kitchen. You need clearly defined roles. But seems like quite a few people with similar roles or intermingled roles.
Also would like to see head of scouts for Europe, South America, Africa and Asia who all report to the main scout. Those continental scouts then have 3-5 regional scouts that report to them who in turn have access to freelance local scouts etc
Doesn't know the name of the game.
United fans have repeatedly protested and nothing has happened because the Glazer's haven't needed to sell, the idiots at Liverpool left because they were in such a state financially that they couldn't stay, it had nothing to do with protests, while AC Milan fans protested against their owners last years and yet their ownership hasn't changed so everything you have written there is nonsense. Blaming match going fans (I get to about 10 games a year but am not there most weeks so I don't consider myself as much of a fan as them) in any way for the ownership situation is absolutely ludicrous. I'm guessing you've never been anywhere near Old Trafford and yet decide to blame those who do go, many of them being posters on this forum, for something over which they have no control.I’ve been thinking about blame. And part of who’s to blame is the fans. As a collective we are naive and easily manipulated. Going back even before the INEOS and Ratcliffe deception, look how often anti glazer sentiment would quickly die down with a signing.
Anyone that thinks protests don’t work look at Liverpool and Ac Milan their fans both protested and/or boycotted matches and it led to them getting rid of incompetent owners.
So yeah glazers saw an opportunity to buy a club for nothing and they took it. Ratcliffe offered them a way to sell 25% and make over 100% return on the price of club in 2005 and the glazers took it.
The signs about Ratcliffe and INEOS being incompetent were there from the beginning they do own two other clubs. The signs about Ratcliffe being self serving were also there. Look how he kept bending to the will of the glazers. But fans wanted to fantasise about Ratcliffe being a saviour, made up fantasise about him buying the club outright with 2-3 years with “put & call options” spun every negative story into a positive. So after a while the reality is United is where it is because the fans are not as ‘militant’ as Ac Milan, Liverpool and to be honest I don’t think what has happened to United would be tolerated by fans at many other historically great European clubs be it Bayern, Barca, Real, etc

Doesn’t matter what City have done on that front. Two things. Firstly, City have a first class recruitment team, including the new DOF Viana who they signed from Sporting last summer. As a club we are still light years behind. Second thing, we have no money. City have huge funds from oil washing and have cheated the system. United, due to the first point on recruitment where we are shit, have wasted the best part of £1bn on poor signings, fees plus salary combined. This is not about one area of the pitch, our recruitment is 1 out of 10 over the last decade.
As for finances, our total debts are at record levels. We had I believe a £350m debt facility arranged to fund spending, I believe around £100m is left. So that plus sales is our kitty for this window and next. If we are not in Europe next season it looks bad.
Well it is still nonsense because they protested again and it did nothing. Your point was that AC Milan fans are more militant and therefore forced the owners out but then apparently it didn't work the more recent time they protested. To be honest I'm not even sure which ownership change at Milan you're referring to as being driven by fan pressure, the ownership there changed about 3 times in a few years due to financial issues.I’m talking about Ac Milan protests 10 years ago, at least know what I’m talking about before you call it nonsense. Of course it’s idiotic to assume that protest will work in removing owners immediately. They take time and intensity. But the Glazers have been at United for over 20 years now, actual protests have been on and off and never reached any sustained level where you can say the owners have felt pressured for anything longer than a few months.
Why comment if you’re not even sure which protest I’m referring to? And therefore won’t be aware of the length and intensity of the protest and boycott. But instead keep referring to the silent protest that lasted 6 months in 2025. To compare that to what went on a decade ago shows ignorance of the issue.Well it is still nonsense because they protested again and it did nothing. Your point was that AC Milan fans are more militant and therefore forced the owners out but then apparently it didn't work the more recent time they protested. United fans have protested a lot more than Liverpool fans ever did, they could have protested non-stop for 20 years and the Glazer's wouldn't have given a shit if their investment was still valuable and still had the potential to appreciate in vaiue.
Yeah look at the fact our protests caused a game to actually be postponed, leeches were probably just sat in their Florida mansions laughing at it all.Well it is still nonsense because they protested again and it did nothing. They don't have the money nor the ability. It's a perfect storm really.INEOS and GLazers in too much debt and financial restrictions to fix this
need the right people on the board but again need money to fix the quality in this team
need to sell up to someone rich...
I said as much the last day (and the two caretaker options are putrid as well) and some people wanted to have a go at me because Darren Fletcher has complete his coaching courses and knows the club. Diabolical stuff.fecking joke ownership. Threw away only chance at silverware cause we couldn't get it sorted between two caretaker options that nobody else is even fighting us for
Ed Woodward is 10 folds more competent than all of them.
They don’t know what they’re doing do they? Sacked the manager because he bruised Wilcox ego, and effectively wrote the season off.
