He's entitled to his opinion and ideologies but what he has done is incite hate, blatantly lied, and shown a lack of self awareness. He has also shown a complete disrespect for our football club and the people associated with it.

What Ratcliffe has said and others on this thread that are supporting it, is encouraged by the current political climate. Trump, Farage, Reform, far right movements etc. are gaining so much traction and power that this sort of communication becomes normalised...
 
Ignoring all the politics as that isn't what this forum or thread is about, if he thinks this is a good job, cutting jobs, removing big earners, hiring and firing Ashworth, hiring and firing Amorim, renewing and firing ETH and then lucking into Carrick for a few games, it concerns me he thinks that's a good job and their hard work is starting to show? That is so concerning.

Looks like you have trouble moving on from the fact people are sharing their opinions on a public forum. But sure, we can take note that this is the issue you are having at the moment, and not the racist and impressively factually wrong tirade from the man with the most power at the club.

Yeah they are now recorded by ONS in a survey we do not know the true figures. Police ignore a lot of reported crime and you never even get a crime number. Unless you live in a wonderful place with no druggies, dossers and feral kids

Where is the threshold? If you go back far enough in your own tree you're highly likely to find someone not born in England. What is the old saying? Most people are related to Charlemange or something? It's just basic understanding of history and how people move around. At what point would someone become acceptably "british" in your eyes and explain to me how this gives them rights over someone else?

“Simple stuff” yet the reality is there is no such ethnic classification as “British” but there ARE ethnic classifications of “Asian British” or “Black British”. Seems you’re failing with simple stuff?

Quiet, he might learn that we actually were colonised by the fecking French in 1066! History is littered with large population movements and genetic shifts, it's more likely that these black British men the poster refers to, they're probably genetically closer to them than many white people. The genes that make-up skin colour are actually very few in comparison to the other thousands that make a human. These kinds of arguments in that post belong in 1930s Germany; we've moved on from this, there's vast science that backs it up.

Color of skin i presume is the threshold, looking at his comments. He would not be applying that logic to white people, only if you are brown/asian/black etc, you can never be British even if you're 3rd or 4th generation.

That type of argument is just mindless and removed from scientific reality, as I just mentioned in my previous post, skin colour in terms of the gene pool has a very tiny share. Once you understand the basic science here, the arguments hold such little weight it's almost funny.

Didn't think we could have worse owners than the glazers*, but here we are. Never liked Radcliffe and these latest comments just show what a toxic person he is.
Sadly, modern football is a plaything for the ultra rich, and if it wasn't INEOS it could only be some other petro-company with dodgy human rights.

The comments on this thread are typical of the downturn of this country in recent years post-Brexit.
Radcliffe saying this out loud just make it more acceptable for people to say what they've always thought in public.

He's also pissed off Andy Burnham. He might want to row back on his comments if he wants the Mayor to help out with the new stadium.
 
Just stupid for someone in his position to be making comments, especially as owner of a football club which is supported world wide.

Yes missing off senior members of the current government is an odd way to be trying to get them to commit to billions on a regeneration needed for us to build a new stadium. Almost like he doesn't give a shit about the club
 
If people like him and his cronies paid a good living wage people wouldn't need UC to top up their wages. He really is detached from reality for a lot of people. He is blaming immigrants, when has been pointed out the vast majority of claimants are English and Irish.

It's a point that is increasingly lost on many in the world because the rich control the narrative completely, always have and always will. Many will actually lap up Jim's comments and add him to their alliance roster as a "good guy".
