Club ownership | Senior management team talk

I think what is most galling is the bid for the IPL team from the glazers, money for that after milking us dry and leaving us to rot

i wonder if they are flogging a stake in tampa bay, as the IPL does not allow leveraged takeovers

Wilcox, Berrada and now another former City employee joins United. Obviously City have been very well run for the last decade but still feel like maybe we aren’t casting a wide enough here, perhaps?

I think it’s just that we’re catching up to the likes of City in this respect. The Glazers didn’t know their ass from their elbow in terms of stuff like this and never bothered. They just gave it to Woodward who foolishly thought he could be Perez or Galliani.

There’s probably a whole bunch of talented people who’d have jumped to join us if we weren’t run by the leeches in Tampa. A lot of them have ended up at City because of their ambitious project and blank chequebook. At least INEOS and Ratcliffe have ambition compared to them, hence why we can now attract these people.

Maybe Championship football next season doesn't quite appeal to them.

Yeah, that sounds like bollocks, how on earth could they afford to buy spurs and I thought one of the cnuts was buying a cricket team for a couple of billion.
I'd hazard a guess that the value of Spurs will decrease massively if they get relegated.

It's obviously nonsense but there would be some financial/business sense in buying them especially with all the money they make from non football stuff.

Any updates about the stadium or was that all PR to appease the masses?

Loads of news this morning about we could scrap major sections of the proposed rebuild due to cash and restructuring of debt proving prohibitive combined with battles for land

At this point they should call quits and sell the club to someone who can afford it

Scrap the whole thing. Spend a few hundred million redeveloping the South Stand and increase the capacity to 80,000+.

For a new stadium of we cant build the very best I would rather not bother at all

Speculation over whether or not the stadium gets built was all intentional. Smoke and mirrors primarily to take some of the heat off the Glazer family’s twenty five year history of neglect, greed, lies and incompetence.

Wild thing to say.

You're acting like they just threw out some LARP images of a 'new stadium' with full knowledge that they had no funding, no plan and no intention to actually make it a reality.

I'm actually ITK on this and the issue is actually the complete opposite to what you're suggesting. INEOS realised they were going too SMALL on the stadium redesign. 100k? Try 500. Interactive plaza outside the stadium? Nah. How about a theme park.

They recently hired the Hungarian design consultant G. Rok to sketch this up. Please don't post this anywhere else. Construction should begin any day now.

Quite nice that. Very subtle and understated, but does it have a cheese room?

If Ed Woodward built a stadium....
