So Spurs have been deemed an elite club entitled to a seat at the top table of club football until the end of time. This decision was made by a handful of men who've probably never heard of St Etienne. So, who's bigger than spurs. I'll start :

Ajax

Financially Spurs are top 10 in the world - this is all that matters for this super league so in those terms they have every right to be there. If you think money is all that matters then this is fine. In footballing terms Spurs should be nowhere near the super league but we can all see it's not about that. All the anger about Spurs being part of this should be shared equally between all 12 clubs.

This is a pisstake thread though, your rational arguments have no place here.

I hate Spurs as an Arsenal fan. But they are a big football club, bigger than Chelsea and the second biggest in London.

You could probably make an argument that if Ajax, Celtic, Dortmund were in the same league as United, Liverpool, Chelsea etc. then financially they'd be far better off as well. Spurs have an association with these other big clubs without actually winning anything to earn it.

One of the best examples of a club who are being most disgraced by this. Been building for a long time. European trophies, getting more competitive and are now being told no, not you

Aston Villa have won a European Cup, why are they not invited. Spurs have won how many?

Levy has always been a superb businessman in every area apart from the one where Spurs ever win anything. This latest move is the ultimate and final manifestation of that.

Spurs are at the table but they’ve got no plate.
