All players have tested positive for coronavirus. Recent scientific studies have shown that the virus works in following fashion: All positive athletes survive as long as they don't come in contact with other positive athletes they've previously shared a dressing room with. If your opponent can prove that any of your starting 11 players have been in the same starting XI in any international match, they will begin with a 2 vote head start. Votes are scarce in the cricket drafts so keep that in mind. Should you somehow progress despite the 2 vote deficit, you will lose both those players to coronavirus before the next round and their blood will forever remain on your hands.
Team Rules
1. Minimum of 12 players and maximum of 15 players in the squad.
2. All time test draft (but that cnut Bradman is banned).
3. Minimum 20 tests.
4. When you bid for reinforcements, you will need to discard players if the squad size exceeds 15 at any time. If you lose two players to coronavirus your squad can't exceed 13 players.
5. No nationality restrictions but most nationalities in the starting XI will be used as the tiebreaker if votes are equal.
Auction Rules
1. Total budget for the team is 300m.
2. Base price for every player = 10m.
3. At no point can the total price bids for players exceed 300m. If that occurs, it will lead to voiding of several bids and a penalty of 10m.
4. Each player can nominate a maximum of 15 players to the auction board. Game runner will nominate 20 players at the start of the auction to get the game going.
5. At any time, the number of players on auction board can not exceed 20.
6. A player will be deemed sold if no rival bid is placed on him for 12 hours.
7. Minimum increment of a bid has to be 2m within the first 4 hours of the last bid, 5m for the next 6 hours and 10m in the last 2 hours.
8. All timestamps on auction board must be of GMT time.
9. Any money saved from 300m will carry forward for reinforcement rounds. Another 50m will be given for subsequent reinforcement rounds. Minimum price of a player in first reinforcement round will be 20m. Second will be 30m.
Auction board would look something like this -
Warne - harshad, 15m, 04.00
Akram - harshad, 10m, 08.00
Tendulkar - 2mufc0, 20m, 13.00
So now if Moby comes in at let's say 15.00 GMT and wants to bid on all 3 players. For Akram minimum increment has to be 5m since it is 7 hours since the last bid, for Warne it has to be 10m since it has been 11 hours since last bid and we are in last 2 hours of his bid closure and for Tendulkar it will be 2m since it is within 4 hours of last bid.
So if he bids on all 3 it will be -
Warne - Moby, 25m, 15.00
Akram - Moby, 15m, 15.00
Tendulkar - Moby, 22m, 15.00
