Makes perfect sense tbh, they're good enough to sneak into the CL this year but it wouldn't be a disappointment if they only ended up in the Europa League places or lower. Don't think Ronaldo plays for a top UCL club again. The Newcastle link makes sense but you would assume Cristiano would want to be in the UCL immediately for his records / honours. If Newcastle also fail top four then it's essentially a repeat scenario for him again.
