Last time I checked half of Europe were queuing up to say they didn’t want him.

If it’s by mutual consent he will surely have agreed not to join an EPL side?

If he doesn't get into his head that he's no longer worth such crazy wages, it'll have to be MLS/China/Qatar and co.

Who do we most want to see implode - City maybe?
Would be hilarious. Unfortunately they’re too well run a club and wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole. Hopefully Piers Morgan gets his wish and he goes to Arsenal and stops their title challenge is it’s tracks. More wishful thinking though. :(

Can’t see him in the PL at another top club. Unless they were desperate for his fans to transfer over?

Great to see him stop their progress

Chelsea if Boehly is dumb enough.

Other than that, I genuinely don't see who is dumb enough given that he has to be a starter, they have to afford him, and those 2 right there just don't line up anywhere in Europe

Boehly will not miss the opportunity to sign Cristiano Ronaldo for free.

I could see this, Saudi Arabia makes a deal that he plays for Newcastle then goes to Saudi Arabia to promote the league for a huge pay off

It will be hilarious to see what excuses his fanboys like Piers Morgan will come up with when he proceeds to stink the place out at his next club.

It won’t be hilarious. It will be mundane. He will defy all logic and back Ronaldo because he’s a very boring sycophant and that’s what he does because he’s a bore.

Makes perfect sense tbh, they're good enough to sneak into the CL this year but it wouldn't be a disappointment if they only ended up in the Europa League places or lower. They'd relish the media furore that comes with Ronaldo and it's actually a really clever way for them to really let people know they've "arrived".

Then an ambassador role like that have for Messi for the 2030 WC bid.

Makes too much sense. Not sure if Ronaldo would take the CL hit though?

That’s certainly true. He could go to Arsenal and scupper their title hopes and Piers would find a way to pin it all on Arteta or the rest of the team for not supplying him with enough chances or some bollocks.

MLS may be best if he wants to retain some sporting dignity?

Don't think Ronaldo plays for a top UCL club again. The Newcastle link makes sense but you would assume Cristiano would want to be in the UCL immediately for his records / honours. If Newcastle also fail top four then it's essentially a repeat scenario for him again.

Him joining Newcastle would be hilarious.

Why doesn’t his mate Piers start lobbying him to join Arsenal.
