Rejected multiple times by most top European clubs so might have to accept the Saudi offer if he wants to continue playing.

The big ego hit is yet to come when the big clubs ignore him and smaller clubs will offer him 25% of what he is asking.

This is my view as well but you never know. I thought it was madness when we brought him back nearly 2 years ago especially for the wages we were paying. Think about the people who still defend Ronaldo to the hilt. I reckon there might be an owner or two with the belief that they can get that last few years out of Ronaldo and "won't make the same mistakes" United have with Ronaldo. It will go badly for them but the belief will be there.

In his head he hopes to score 5 or 6 goals and that the world will fall at his feet again.

Personally I think that when the World Cup is over and he sees that his only option is to go to the Saudi Arabian league he will call his career over.

Sounds very similar to Spurs bringing in Mourinho after his meltdown with us. The difference is that it isn't stupid CEO's making the call on Ronaldo- it is managers who will make the decision and no manager will be stupid enough to sign Ronaldo. If Boehly tries to bring him in a Chelsea, I could see Potter walking away (for example).

Arsenal beckoning?
I'd be very surprised if Arteta wanted him.

I'd love him to go to Arsenal as I reckon we'd end up above them in the league by the end of the season, if they do take him and start him in the majority of the games, unfortunately I don't think Arteta is that clueless.

Yeah, Ronaldo is what they need, they want to play (or they play) high pressing with 9 working very hard, Ronaldo with his work rate should suit their playstyle.

He'd also be a great guy to have around their dressing room, so professional and helpful to the other players.

I'm sure he'd be totally fine with being the backup for Gabriel Jesus.

I love this. Piers, Souness all talking about how good Ronaldo still is, how he has this desire to play at the highest level.

The only offer he has is in Saudi... real high level football that.

Goes to Chelsea.

They crash out the CL immediately.

Finish below United and outside the CL places. United finish at least 4th.

United get bought by Apple and sign Mbappe with pocket change to them.

Ronaldo cries and realises he shat the bed.

Al Nassr makes sense because they'll want him for the 2030 WC bid so they'll have that in the contract

Cristiano:
Complains about how Man Utd are disrespecting him, Cristiano Ronaldo, by putting him on the bench

Also him:
Moves to a random nothing club in Saudi Arabia nobody has ever heard of

God so hard to decide - Real, Arsenal, Newcastle, Bayern, or Al-Nassr. I somehow feel like Al-Nassr might just end up having the edge though :lol::lol:
Were they the ones offering something daft like 200m for a season?

Allegedly. But imagine living in Saudi. Or would he just fly in for the matches?
Probably be brilliant as he'd have some massive mansion with everything like pools and staff to every need.
Plus only for a year or so.

There ain't going to be another WC in the middle east within 8 years.
It's a joint bid with Greece and somewhere else I think. Will probably succeed. FIFA is no less corrupt than before.

The WAG won't be pleased though.
