His workrate in the last 20 minutes is something else, all the younger player should take notes.

Loved watching him soo happy after the final whistle

Thank goodness we don't have an absolute sea of drones telling us how he's the problem... for at least 3 days...

Honestly up to his goal I was thinking he's absolute shit.

But he put on a shift from the goal up till the end of the game. Not much time but it was great to see him back running, defending and of course scoring his header.

The other 70 or so minutes of him were really bad though.
He was doing it before his goal as well.

Last time Ronaldo scored in 3 consecutive UCL game for United we went on to win the CL.

Thought he looked a bit shit with the ball at his feet, they don't really work the same anymore. Probably going to be an issue in the season especially in games where we don't have much of the ball but can't deny it's fun watching him score important goals for us.

His heading ability is superhuman. Never seen anything like it. We absolutely need to try to exploit it more. Free goals.

His work rate in the second half was brilliant, you always knew he'd score as long as you dangle one anywhere in the range of goal.

Mr CL saves the day. But my god he wasted a lot of chances before that last one.

Strange how when you create scoring chances for the best goalscorer in the history of the game, we score goals. Maybe Ole should think about doing it more often.

Great mentality. Overall, he's not exactly having a great game. The circumstances of going down 2 goals added pressure on him especially with his own missed chances. He looked visibly disappointed, as he's not a faker; but he showed his winning mentality which in decisive moment trumped everything. That's what a big player he is.

Very good, committed performance, and a great goal. He’s been fantastic overall so far, when we get at teams and give him a chance he provides.

Mega player.

He did this sort of thing against Villa trying to get the team to spark into life coming back and winning the ball but the rest of them were dead that afternoon. He's not at fault for how timid and inept the others are most of the time.

You see after the game he fecking lives and breaths this shit.
