This entire league is essentially fixed for him to reach 1000 goals and win meaningless trophies and he's not even gonna do it.
I think he will hit the 1000 goals, but it's going to take him a bit longer than he thought.
Winning trophies on the other hand.... perhaps not.
If his production begins to fall off, they'll tell the opposition to start fouling him in the box more often.
This league has a financial incentive to keep Ronaldo scoring and make sure he scores his 1000th goal in a Saudi League match. They'll help the pursuit of that goal as they see fit.
