I was at the game were Gretzky scored, I think it was his 1852nd assist to have (at that time) more points than anyone had points. He’s a ridiculous athlete and there’s really no argument for anyone else in hockey.
Gretzky is probably the only sportsperson where his stats are so far ahead of the second place totals that it just looks cartoonish. Like, how did he do it? There's no equivalent in football or any of the other US sports. The only similar thing I can think of is Bradman, and that's just with the batting average, not with all the numbers.

You've just ignored everything I've said re why they're similar, l o l. And you have a very rose tinted view of what Messi is like, for some reason, you seem to think he's a saint.
Of course Messi has drive and isn't a saint at all, but he's not like Jordan and he's not like Ronaldo, there are different levels to this sort of thing, there's no point making a false equivalence. But yeah no point talking about it for too long for a hypothetical and abstract comparison.

I don't think you can say he wasn't an elite dribbler, he was, just that Messi was always a better dribbler. And I agree that if you're talking about the greatest dribblers of all time, then Ronaldo is not going to be near the top of that list, but he was one of the best dribblers in the world when he was dribbling, I think that's fair to say.
Plenty of ironmen that are older and considerably fitter than either. I doubt Ronaldo or LeBron could swim 2 miles, bike 110 miles and then run a marathon one after the other.
For 1 season 06/07, he was one of the best dribblers. Prior to that, he had the numbers but the dribbling was brainless. After that, it was good but not elite and progressively worsening other than 09/10. Overall, in the majority of his prime, i wouldn't call him elite in this particular aspect of his game.
