I wonder how the social media teams are going to treat this going forward. For the last 12 years I used to cringe every time we posted him whilst he was at other clubs.

Watch him fly in the WC now. He must be so relieved.

Brilliant news, let's hope all of his fanboys follow him out. If not, ban them. :D

Must be a massive win for our wage bill, which can now be used for a couple of big name signings (Mbappe please).

I’m sad it ended like this. I was at OT last season for his return debut vs Newcastle and the atmosphere was incredible, a very memorable day. Glad the club have dealt with it quickly though.

Miracle if his next club is as big as United, and pays him as well. Only way is down.
Their are two options that would be amazing.

Bayern on a free is for sure an option, they probably become CL favorites

Im looking forward to see how ETH operates without having to worry about Ronaldo. It feels like we can really move forward now he's gone.

He'd love Bayern, but haven't they publicly said it's not something they are interested in? He should go back to Sporting.

The club handled it well, little fanfare, no back and forths.

Things didn't go as I wanted to, as a big United and Ronaldo fan, I never wanted him to comeback, he did come, tried his best and last season he had an incredible return on match winners and points given, and I'll keep the good memories from last season rather than the bad ones from this season.

I hope sincerely both the club and the player find success without each other.

Bye bye.

I couldn't bring myself to watch that interview. I'll try to remember him from his time playing with Rooney.

You really think Ronaldo would make Bayern CL favourites? Bayern will probably go nowhere near him, as they’re looking to win the CL.

Not a chance Bayern goes for him
Also, he doesn't get in ahead of Choupo Motang for a non biased coach

Thank feck it's over. Good luck to Ronaldo to whatever.
I can't take this circus anymore. Should be the right decision for United.
