But Rooney is 31 and he's passed his prime but on the other hand Pogba costed as a fortune and this is his time to shine.
And shine he did. I was just using Rooney as an example not due to age but because he is someone who gets put under the microscope for stuff that's basically irrelevant.

He now looks like he is enjoying these results. That was a battling display, you have to have them.
For sure. The past couple of weeks or so I've seen him smile more and just seem so full of passion. Encouraging signs :)

Missed Zlatan's goal for a stupid office Xmas party
Pogba received the ball on the left side from the wing, he turns around Cabaye who apparently faints to the ground around 35-40 yards out, takes a couple of touches, then slots a ball through to Zlatan, who timed his run to perfection.

The ball rolled through on the left side of the penalty area, Zlatan running onto it around a yard ahead of any Palace player, he took a touch, oh no! It looked a bit of a heavy touch, but he pumps his 35 year old pins to get there in time, slides down to make contact with the ball and connects with his left foot to loft the ball past Hennessy to hit the far post and deflect in.

Zlatan's celebration consists of him looking stoney faced, screaming to his teammates in a pumped up manner as the rest of the team surround him, delighted, hugs all round.

The away fans start up 'We Love United' to the dismay of the Palace fans.

We were the better team and deserved to win but we had equal measures of good and bad luck.
#the good: Rojos 2 footed challenge once again getting away with it. pogbas goal: Ibra looked as though he played it with his arm and Pogba was just offside. Pogbas dive on the edge of the box which he probably would of been carded for if he hadnt of gotten a yellow already.
#the bad: How the ref missed Ledley handball in the penalty area I dont know. Deliberately played it with his arm. Matas 'goal' was not offside. At least 1 player as well as the goalie were in front of him.
Oh well the next game will be a difficult one, away to the Baggies who are 7th.

For me the good was zlatan and his performance.
Along with the old united never say die attitude.
The bad was the subs, lingard and Rashford brought zero influence on the game, if anything it gave palace hope

    Ref was awful as wel

Call up Jose and tell him then, he clearly hasnt a clue.
Well clearly he has come to his senses with Schneiderlin and Memphis as they are on their way out and he will soon come to the same realisation that Darmian isn't good enough.

Lessons we have learned from this game (some may not be new lessons):

    1. Things look positive that we can finally snatch these games
    2. Craig Pawson and the linesmen were horrible
    3. Rojo is a liability with his tackling and will get sent off sooner or later
    4. Darmian is not good
    5. Pogba played brilliantly well, still some silly mistakes, but was great in general
    6. We need to keep playing Zlatan, although not amazing on movement, he is very influential
    7. Video technology is an inevitability in football
    8. It was a terrible week for Arsenal.
