Was wondering if theres any songs of theirs that I'm missing, as I only have 8. I'm sure theres more, am I missing any? I have HBFS, Aerodynamic, Technologic, Human After All, Robot Rock, Digital Love, Around The World and One More Time.

Daft Punk are the original, and the best.

get the album Alive 2007

it is a recording of a gig they did in paris, and it is awesome
I saw them live at Hyde Park last year. It was the best gig i have ever been too, thousands of people all going nuts.

I dont think they will ever tour again, Thomas Bangalter is going deaf from all the DJ'ing he did in his earlier years.

You're missing key tracks from the Homework album then.

Da Funk

Burning

Both essentials.

I fecking love Daft Punk...

All the snipets I've heard from this new album have been pretty amazing so far. Can't wait to hear the thing in full, if it's even half as good as Discovery

They may be headlining the Electric Picnic festival if it goes ahead this year. Would be tempting for me to go.

Trying my best not to hype this album up too much for myself. Fingers crossed it delivers. Soundtrack to summer. :D

Bloody hell how time flies, can't believe Alive is 6 years old. I remember when it came out I would listen to it over and over. A few of my friends actually got to see it live, apparently it was amazing.

Aye. Well... apart from the OP ;)

For other songs that haven't been mentioend Derezzed from the Tron Soundtrack is superb (as is a lot of that soundtrack in fairness - especially the first half, though it does work a bit better in a film context then on a CD) and I've always been a big fan of Crescendolls and High Life from Discovery.

Though not enough Daft Punk and a bit too much Pharrell for me.

No great surprise to have more singing then and less Punking on a lead single... plus, the theres enough great Daft Punk in there to leave you wanting more, which is surely a good thing!

And yeah, it's funky as feck... a proper grower.

I'm listening to the single for the first time right now. It's a great tune! I can definitely see this song being a big summer hit (for the indie kids rather than the mainstream, I guess). Like Solius says, the funky guitar loop is catchy as hell!

I think it has alot of "French electro pop" which always is a plus.

I like Pharrell Williams. I just think the other bit is a lot better and want more of it.

Please, if it was a no mark who went uncredited no one would care about the vocals.
I like the vocals, I'm not really a fan of any of his or anything... but I think he does a good job he. He captures the 70's disco element to the song very well...

After a few more listens, I properly love this song... think its great.

Listened to it while walking out of work. It makes you want to walk groovily, if that's a word.

Can't wait for the full album.

Daft Punk has always been fantastic music to strut too.

Try it with their first album, you can't help but get into it when you have Da Funk and Around The World playing.

I can't wait for this album.

I saw them twice on their last big tour (2006?) and the show was amazing. At Lolapoolaza in Chicago the crowd were pretty subdued but in Ireland we were at the very back and everyone was going crazy, we could see the whole crowd and there wasn't one section that was standing still.

Digital Love was my teenage soundtrack

The new single is a nice tune and all but nothing that'll blow you away, although it is kind of what you expect for a new single. There's bound to be a few crackers on the album.

I love the track. Having watched the following video though, I can't un-hear 'Mexican monkey' during Daft Punk's vocals.
