Yeah it's great.
I'd agree. It's a lot more accessible than their previous work, which some may view as a bad thing. I don't.Saw my mate be accused of being a Daft Punk fanboy for liking the album, I'd argue its the opposite. The fanboys might feel let down. I was no huge fan of Daft Punk all those years ago, and love this album.
I know I'll be grilling meat to this baby. It's cool beans.I think it's brilliant, to be honest.
It's not like 'Discovery' or 'Homework', but how boring would it have been for them to remake that sound again?
It's not an album full of club bangers, but more an album you listen to during a barbecue in summer. It's funky as shit, some of these tracks will get you dancing. There's nnoo ddoobbtt aabboott tha'.
Go on the artist page for Daft Punk and there should be the option to play it there. Can you still stream it on iTunes? Cant find any link or button to play it
Got it, thanks!Go on the artist page for Daft Punk and there should be the option to play it there.
Because it's not as 'house' as their previous work. The funk will definitely get people dancing though.I don't get why people are saying it's not 'dancey' enough. Give Life Back to Music, Giorgio by Moroder, Instant Crush, Lose Yourself to Dance, Touch, Get Lucky (obviously), Doin' it Right and Contact all had me wanting to dance. The whole album's a masterpiece as far as I'm concerned. Very refreshing release considering dance music was getting a bit stale and faddy.
It's something that I've said about 'fans' of many bands, but why do people expect everything they release to sound the same? Of other bands I like, it was criticism aimed at Pendulum when Immersion came out with people complaining of it not sounding enough like Hold Your Colour, every time Enter Shikari release something new people complain that they were better in their Take to the Skies days, and now loads of people are complaining that RAM doesn't sound enough like Discovery/Homework. On the other end of the spectrum, I was really disappointed by Crystal Castle's third album because it was more of the same and I felt that I'd heard it all before, but better.Because it's not as 'house' as their previous work. The funk will definitely get people dancing though.
Yeah I guess I agree with you pretty much.Different isn't nessecerily better, agreed.
I don't think this is a masterpiece, no. But I think it's a brilliant throw back to disco, and some if the funkiest tracks I've heard in a long time.
This song needs a great remix. If it gets one I reckon it will be massive in the clubs.Doin' It Right is such a silly song. And I love it
I’d write that in a f***ing hour
