Daley Blind fears Manchester United could sell him in the summer

Probably add Johnstone, Fellaini and Wilson to that and that’ll probably be right in our outgoings in the summer although I’d keep Mata just as a squad player.

I like Blind and think he’s useful as a back up centre back or left back but he clearly wants regular football, we’re stocked with centre backs and left back is a position I’d expect us to really prioritise in the summer so where Blind fits is hard to see.
Johnstone is gone for sure , Wilson too . If Fellaini signs the contract he won't be going anywhere.

Young's recent transformation has ended Blinds united career I would say. And we should seriously consider giving tuanzebe opportunities too.

If Rojo doesn't buck up by the end of the season I can see us selling him too and promoting Tuanzebe into the regular team rotation.

So far the writing is on the wall for Mata, Blind, Shaw and most likely Fellaini as well.

I think we will loan tuanzebe next season while Mensah will be back. Mensah will be a back up to Valencia and the CB's next season.

Mata,Mikhi ,Shaw, Darmian and Blind: Can't see this group having a future at United. And that too when Ozil , Ghoulam , Groetzka , Sanches will be available for free. If we can two of them plus Pereira and Mensah coming back I believe we could easily replace them.
Just spent big for a right winger !

I don't think Jose is going to loan out either Tuanzebe or McTominay, he recently said something to that effect that they are better served being at United and training with the first team than elsewhere.

Blind isn't particularly good in any of the positions he's played in. He was better under van Gaal because we usually had the ball and nobody was running at him.

Bull- he is a good ball playing CB that has hardly made a mistake there. Though I agree he isn't suited to José's 25 mins of attack and 65 mins of back to the wall defense.

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time

But that's exactly what he said about Fosu Mensah. He didn't want to loan him out straight away last season; he wanted him to stay with the first team and get 'ready' mentally even though he barely played a minute, then loan him out this season.

I expect Tuanzebe will do exactly the same thing. Stay with the first team this season so as to become part of the group even though he'll barely play (unfortunately), then he'll go out on loan next season where he'll hopefully show enough that Mourinho will consider him truly ready to compete for a first team spot the following one. Meanwhile, Fosu Mensah will come back next season and be part of the first team. Although TFM has been dropped to the bench at Crystal Palace recently, so that's going to hurt his chances. He'll still come back and cover that same spot that Tuanzebe is this season, but his chances of pushing for a stronger role are being hurt.

Both Tuanzebe and TFM could also spell some relief for Matic in DM if we don't sign anyone with Carrick retiring.

Blind is perfect for left centre back of a 3. Especially in games where we're gonna have a lot of the ball. In Europe on Tuesday, he stepped into midfield and brought the ball out better than anyone else at the back and was good cover for Shaw most of the time. In tighter games Rojo might be preferred but Blind has great qualities and his versatility is great.

This.
Don't forget Blind loves being here and he doesn't mind being a squad player. I see no reason to sell.

I would rather keep Blind and sell Jones. We only have Rojo who is comfortable at LCB, and he can also deputize the LB.

Jones is the better CB, but the injuries are just too much, he can't be depended upon.

He's much more versatile and reliable than Jones, so I'd be reluctant to get rid of him first. As good as Jones was at the start of the season, what good is a player who you can't trust to stay fit for any length of time.

He's just perfect squad player, I think and hope we should keep him. Also, I think Mourinho thinks the same so I am confident he'll stay.

Darmian should go.

I want us to push him back into center midfield
Would be papering over cracks. With the amount of subs nowadays the utility player is not as valuable nowadays. Blind is a decent player but in time we need better but maybe this summer is premature as Darmain and Shaw maybe out this summer also.

He is the favorite to leave. Young and Valencia are better than him going forward down the right. So it seems is Tuanbzebe and definitely Mensah. So if Mourinho does sign a left back specialist and keeps Shaw as competition. I see Darmian and possibly Smalling as the easily expendable guys at the back.

Players like him aren't sold because he is sh*t - it's because we have a manager who doesn't appreciate technical players.

He will be alright. Off to a CL club who values solid technical squad players like him. I wonder who United's next scapegoat will be.

I'm happy martial has recently found some forn because otherwise the lad would have been swapped for perisic.

Jose is clearly caught between two minds - players like Rashford & martial are players that would be valued much higher as well -but does Jose really need them? No; he would much prefer players who can cross a ball in so Lukaku can attempt to finish.

This squads technical ability is underestimated to the point it is hardly utilised.
