Not sure about this one. We tried having two-thirds of a goalkeeper in nets with Barthez and it didn't really work out.

Never heard of him obviously but took it for granted that he’d be a goalkeeper good with his feet

FM and Fifa seem to think he’s shit with his feet

Ofcourse, its not a summer window without a back up keeper to warm the bench despite purchasing a dozen of the highest rated ones for the academy every year.

The only goalkeeper in the league that's worse than De Gea at coming out for crosses

Guy has played 81 top flight league games in his career, and another 13 for Austria, why spend money on someone like him? Probably better off at picking up Karius on a free just as a thank you for the CL final.

Loan to Middlesborough apparently. So loan out Heaton and spend more money on another keeper? With Grant, Hendo and Heaton gone, we’ll need two more keepers. This club’s transfer strategy makes no damn sense.
Interesting, hadn’t heard that one. I guess guaranteed minutes is too good for a lad his age to turn down. Shame, seems like a good pro.
I know zero about this Watford keeper. Why can’t we promote one of our reserve keepers? We have a couple with high potential

It says a lot that Ben Foster, despite being 39 and devoting more attention to his YouTube channel (one which I enjoy watching a lot, but it doesn’t detract from the fact that he has been focusing on it much more than Watford fans would have liked), has been playing over him.

Bachmann isn’t even a better goalkeeper than Tom Heaton, and it says a lot that he is statistically the only goalkeeper worse at claiming crosses in the league than De Gea. At least DDG himself has many redeeming qualities as well, such as his excellent shot stopping. We’re in trouble if he gets injured.

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time

The young keepers need to be playing games, either in our youth teams or out on loan. They certainly shouldn't be spending the season sitting on the bench as our 2nd choice, or (more likely) being our #3 and travelling with the team ready to be put on the bench if the #1 or #2 get injured/ill in the warm-up.

Is he good at distribution? Because if yheres one thing we are brilliant at, it's singing and renewing old school GK who don't fit the modern game.

Not sure we we obsess over having old back up goalkeepers. Isn't Heaton enough? Just make a reserve goalie be the 3rd guy?

Apparently he is a trash version of De Gea so...
