Yep she’s getting so annoying now. Still confused by the ending of the last episode. Are we supposed to like Heather? God, she's annoying. Bring back Karen.
why did Matt take the bullet for Fisk?

For me, nobody will beat Karen for being annoying. She’s always been the worst part of the show for me - both in the way she’s written and the way she’s performed. It especially annoyed me when they didn’t know what to do with her character in season 2 so they had her just walk into a job as a journalist (after helping to get her predecessor murdered) in New York - the most competitive media environment in the world. Her writing sucked balls too.Are we supposed to like Heather? God, she's annoying. Bring back Karen.

Yeah, sort of the only explanation I have but he’s still the one who helped Pointdexter escape. Well im assuming he “assisted” him with his escape by banging his head against the table. Just weird, he escaped by killing people and yet DD felt the need to be “good” in that moment anr save Fisk’s life.Poindexter said something along the lines of a good man will protect his enemies. Maybe it stuck in his head
Only just read that’s Michael Gandolfini, James’s son.Yeah, sort of the only explanation I have but he’s still the one who helped Pointdexter escape. Gosh that “deputy mayor of communications” also has annoying punchable face. Can’t see how there’s any “conclusion” to the Fisk story with 1 episode to go, so I assume this storyline will continue into season 2.
Wow. We just had a chat earlier in the Pitt’s thread (another tv series) about Bryan Cranstons daughter. Hollywood is filled with nepo babies.Only just read that’s Michael Gandolfini, James’s son.
He actually played the young Tony Soprano in that spin off film they had ironically.Wow. We just had a chat earlier in the Pitt’s thread (another tv series) about Bryan Cranstons daughter. Hollywood is filled with nepo babies.
Yeah, the Pitt was/is really good. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Get ready for some wicked realistic imagery thoughHe actually played the young Tony Soprano in that spin off film they had ironically.
Must start watching that - The Pitt. Everyone is saying good things about it.
So apparently all the middle episodes with Muse were written by one team of writers.I think the finale paid off, and good to see Matt, Frank and the Kingpin all "born again".
But I have to say, the whole Muse plot was unecessary, and at some point Disney needs to understand that fans have certain expectations, and sidelining fan favourites like Karen and Bullseye for Heather and the Muse is not going to please anyone.
That makes sense - and bodes well for the second series - those episodes were highpoints with the muse story being a total backwater. So apparently all the middle episodes with Muse were written by one team of writers.
Feige didn't like the quality of their output and fired them. The first, eighth and ninth episodes were written the new team. Season 2 will also be written by them.
Good finale but no idea why:
Frank just waltzes in into the lions den to be captured.
And maybe he guessed, correctly, that they’d leave the dumbest corrupt cop in all of NYC to guard him once he’d been captured. He's not exactly the most stable of guys.
Completely agree.Thought it was a bore, and I've no idea why they got rid of the two supporting characters who were a big part of why the original was good? They were actual good characters unlike most side characters in these shows. Just a weird narrative choice. Kingpin doesn't work either as a main (or second-main) character, he's best as the villain showing up every now and again.
They used to annoy, me, I'm glad they're gone for most of it.Thought it was a bore, and I've no idea why they got rid of the two supporting characters who were a big part of why the original was good? Esquie best character.

Completely agree.
Didnt actually realize 2 eps came out last week. Episode 4 ive just watched, also fantastic. After a slow start, things really picked up with today's episode!
Just finished episode 4 this is pretty good so far this season. Correcting the production issues from s1 has proven to work for me. You could tell the course correcting in s1 was on the right track.
Loving the focus on Bullseye, I think all of his scenes are good so far. They are fleshing him out giving him some personality and development.
So glad Vanessa got murdered. I was hoping for her to die even in the Netflix years. Depending on time maybe we see one of Kingpins other ladies show up. He has much more interesting future wives.
I just finally started watching S1 of this. In episode 5 now and the pace still feels a bit off to me. Hope it gets better. I watched the original show before it.
On a related note...came across this video with VDO discussing his roles. Always funny to see how unlike Kingpin he is in rl:
You reckon he’s the best of the MCU? I’ve always thought he’s right up there.D'Onofrio as Kingpin must be one of the best casting decisions ever outside of the most obvious ones in the very best shows of all time.
