Darren Fletcher - Technical Director

Him being given that Technical Director position looks daft in hindsight, especially when that title is now with Jason Wilcox whose CV in a non-playing capacity far exceeds Fletcher’s when he got appointed in that position.
Agggj, not this again. This has been done to death. He wasn’t a technical director in the same way that Wilcox is. He was given that title by the club because they didn’t know how to describe his job. His job primarily was to look after the pathways to the first team & in addition seemed to be used as a helper in other roles. They should have given him a different title so that the plebs didn’t get confused or god forbid..educate themselves

Pathway Coach better title

Quite incredible now to think he was named «technical director», but his job was not actually what a «technical director» usually do. They really gave him the title just for apperance?!

Anyway, always been a fan of the guy. Really hope he makes it as a coach, and would love to see his twins breakthrough at the club too.

Delighted to see him get his chance. Good to see someone go the grafting route first rather than jumping at any old chance. Does well with the U-18's who know what that opens up
