He has reversed his decision, and wants to retire after the world championship. Can’t see him qualifying for it

What an absolute shocker, did not see that coming.... Same with n0bhead McGregor.

By doing this he has shown that he hasn't got the temperament to win another major tournament, his emotions are all over the place. I'd be surprised if he wins another match as a professional to be honest!

World Cup of Darts this week, should be good starts either today or tomorrow I think.
Starts tomorrow. Not a great weekend for it to be on for me, I’m working from 7-21:30 on Saturday and to the beach all day Sunday.

If Anderson and Wright click then I think it’s Scotland’s to lose, Smith is out of form and don’t think MVG will be able to carry Wattimena to glory. Wales have a good chance with both Price and Clayton playing well

Are pro darts players constantly calculating in their mind? They seem to know immediately which doubles they need to hit. Even if they hit the wrong number, they immediately know how that affected the count and what the next double should be.

Or when they can finish, they immediately seem to know which combination of numbers.

Just memory, when you play darts as long as they have you just automatically know what to go for without thinking it

Wales have been knocked out by Singapore

Well worth checking out the draw for the World Matchplay Sat 20th July- Sun 28th, there are some potentially brilliant line-ups. World series continues Friday in Cologne ITV4.

Durrant has taken to the PD. Like duck to water, in terms of averages he is 3rd only behind MVG and Cross. Taking apart Adi Lewis. Granted Lewis is nowhere near his best and hasn’t been since making the world final in 2016

Shame cos Adi on form is great to watch. Has been eons since he was on top form though.
Durrant so solid.

That Wade/ De Zwaan match proper rollercoaster. As for Lewis will be slipping further down the rankings especially with the quality coming through, sad to see because when in full flow so easy to watch. Himself and Chizzy will they ever get back "Premier League Status" ?

Bunting and Wade scraping through.

Forgot Cross is still in it. Assume he's fave ahead of Wright.
Yes, but Wright is in very good form now, probably helped by the fact he’s using the same darts now for more then 5 minutes

High class again. Gurney finishing was the difference, those 61-99 C/O he was deadly
Wanted Wright to win but Gurney was excellent in those last few legs tbf.

Not too fussed on Cross-Gurney, but Smith-Durrant sounds good. Smith can outscore him, but I reckon Durrant's doubling sees him win say 16-12.
