Noble never missed a penalty in his life. De Gea never saved a penalty in his life.

Somethign had to give tonight

Hendo isn't going to get a look in with De Gea in this vein of form.

Started the season fantastically well. Showing the kind of form he showed a few seasons ago. If he continues, then we'll have a title winning keeper.

Fantastic save for the pen. So happy for him.

Got to admit I had zero trust in him saving the penalty, never thought I'd live to see him saving one. What a time to be alive

Thought everyone had that slight hope that it just may be his moment with all the shakiness and that awful penalty record. The timing and saving it from that cnut Noble makes it even more brilliant. Such a huge save.

It would be great for him to have a high end of his United career, good to see him back in form!

Edurne is getting the rod tonight. First penalty save since 8-2 against RvP.

Fecking brilliant, worth every penny of that extortionate weekly salary

The guy just looks focused and concentrated again. He looks the De Gea we knew and loved, not the shit show we have been watching last few seasons.

Please keep this up.

That was a save. With a top hand. Not easy .

Injection of huge confidence today.

He's starting to inspire the team, like few good years ago.

I've been his biggest critic, but not only did he do what he never does today (save a pk), but everything about his game was spot on. His positioning was good, he came off his line when he should have, and his distribution was spot on. If I'm going to be critical I will say he should have saved with his hands easily in the first half rather than his feet on a tame shot. Luckily the rebound came to one of our players. Other than that, just on the penalty save alone he fully deserves MOTM...well done Dave...

We can get about 40 million for Henderson as well.

Started the season very well. Excellent today apart from the footsave which was a bit unnecessary. If he gets back to his old self, our chances of trophies are going up! with Varane and Maguire him not coming for crosses isn't that big a problem either. Still would like him to sweep a bit more, but very few goalkeepers/players are without some small flaws.

We’ve had some big players start this season in very bad form but not Dave,

Fair decks to him, everyone had pretty much wrote him off but he’s risen from the ashes and is showing World Class form and the De Gea we all
Know and love has returned !

So happy for him

Interesting thing about that pen was that he propelled himself off his line instead of flopping to the side. It was a poor pen but it shows that he’s been working on them.

He saved one from RVP in that 8-2. Cant think of the recent one in 2014/15 season.
Baines. Then from Lukaku the season after in the FA Cup. Actually saved one in the first league game of last season but VAR forced a re-take.

But a genuine shock he did save this one. I celebrated more than for Lingard's winner or Ronaldo's goals.
