Group F probably the tightest out there. With maybe H.

Feels like anyone can beat anyone.

Fully expect Belgium to lose.
Martinez is an idiot and half our team is done for. Need to get youngsters in asap and start building again. No expectations whatsoever.

In 2018 Morocco were the classic frantic, energised group stage WC team with zero composure or quality. Although in their last game v Spain they found their feet a little more. Hopefully they can do better this time.

Two players on Forest WC watch today have played a collective 50 minutes in the Garibaldi. Richie Laryea bought last Jan and failed to shift Jack Colback at leftback - now on loan at Toronto and unlikely to return. Brandon Aguilera for Costa Rica, young lad bought in the summer and was around long enough to get his pic taken in a Forest shirt before going out on loan. Quite excited to see him if picked.

So far Morocco look very similar; very exciting and frenetic but very little control, especially in midfield. They'll be fun to watch and might even win this match, but I'd be surprised if they make it out of the group.

Age has caught up with Croatia. International football feels really weak currently. A lot of teams with old sides/in transition. Good opportunity for someone like England or another outsider to win the comp.

Feels like a game where Morocco needs to score fast before experience takes over.

Really hoping this isn’t another 0 - 0. A 0 - 0 draw at the World Cup just feels more rubbish than any other competition.

This was easily the most uncertain group before a ball was kicked. Could finish in any order. Belgium the big side but is "old" and a lot of their players aren't what they were, Croatia typically you would think up there as well but Modrić obviously isnt quite what he was, but still excellent. But they definitely lack a cutting edge. Morocco and Canada are young and very quick and athletic, and while they're unknowns for their own reasons (Canada new on this stage, Morocco brand new coach), they seem to have a lot of togetherness and are dangerous.

Are others noticing that players are kind of not synchronising with each other? Perhaps national teams didn't get enough practice before the world cup.

Croatia look slow to be honest.
Their players are still excellent. Think these are 2 very good teams and probably the most similar level teams we've seen face each other so far.

We look slow and disjointed in attack.

Vlašić and Kramarić are too weak, we need a proper 9 to hold the ball.

Take out Vlašić for Petković and play around him, then get Oršić at 60' min.

Amrabat is very impressive so far. He wins the midfield battle almost by himself.

Typical lack of composure going forward so far for Morocco

Yeah he has been a monster so far. Even more impressive when looking at the midfield he is up against.

Brozovic-Modric-Kovacis is still one of the very best midfield trio in international football.

Just not Orsic ffs. Petkovic definitely must play instead Kramaric because this is not working

Modric coasting on people liking him to avoid getting carded.

Ziyech needs to get his shit together - especially if he keeps shooting free kicks.

Yeah apart from England and Saudi all the other teams have looked average at best.

Expecting level of play to increase as the tournament goes on and players get more time together.

Feels like every nation has a strong GK in this tournament. Some good saves every game.
