I've mentioned she doesn't have a great voice (like many male commentators) which could be construed as a bit of a moan but at least she knows what she's talking about.

I've got nothing against Vicki Sparks. Moreso Martin Keown, but I generally dislike all commentary. Watching it without has been great.

To be fair she reminds me of Adrian Chiles who also grates on me. We're all entitled to an opinion. Everything doesn't have to be forced upon us. Just because she is female doesn't absolve her of criticism.

I'm not watching the English feed, but an annoying voice is annoying no matter if it's a man or a woman. However, you get used to it pretty quickly. This guy is Sweden's most appreciated football writer, but when he was signed to do television work people weren't happy about his voice. Nowadays, nobody cares.

Saying it's the first football match she's seen is moronic given the way she is commentating and using the football lexicon, player names pronounced perfectly and quickly, clearly able to identify the players around the pitch much better than Keown etc.
Not to mention the fact that a quick google search would indicate she works in the field and has achieved a very respectable level despite obvious disadvantages.
Comments like that expose that it's not just her voice that's the issue, because you've not been objective in the slightest.
