Didn't they miss him and Salah last year vs Barcelona?I think Liverpool without Firminio would struggle.

I would love to see the chaos from removing OGS too if we include managers.City Pep

Guess Lovren do not give people much confidence as a backup. Still it is hard to know how much worse they would be.Liverpool without VVD is a regular PL-winning side with no fancy records and several losses. It may sound like hyperbole, but I honestly think VVD makes a difference of at least 10 points this season. Potentially as much as 20 points.

I agree with this. They were good before VVD joined and without him their attack, fullbacks and midfield engine would mean they'd contest with pretty much every side and could beat them on their given day. With VVD it gives the whole team a level of assurance that they don't get from anyone else.Liverpool without VVD is a regular PL-winning side with no fancy records and several losses. Nope, I'd say Ndidi. We're not the same without him.Leicester - Jamie Vardy
Manchester United - Paul Pogba (o wait - this happened)
Brazil-Neymar
This is the problem, they've quite a few players who are absolutely huge for them. Hard to pick one. I'd go for VVD though, for the leadership.I actually think Trent Alexander Arnold has more impact on this Liverpool side's overall gameplay than VVD. Take him out and their game plan suffers because he's so crucial in creating chances for the front three.
missed psg away etc and us finishing 4th without him this season, fanboy?Leicester - Jamie Vardy
Manchester United - Paul Pogba (o wait - this happened)
'fanboy'? Dude I defend this team and its players daily, i am nothing but a fanboy. Of the team.missed psg away etc and us finishing 4th without him this season, fanboy?
support the club not the mercenaries
United perfectly well before Ronaldo. More to the point was the arrival of the Glazers.Manchester United - Ronaldo
Real Madrid - Ronaldo
Juventus - Ronaldo
Remind me how many Champions Leagues titles we won after he left? Our steady decline was due to not sufficiently replacing him (almost impossible job) and then it was only highlighted to a greater extent when Sir Alex retired.United perfectly well before Ronaldo.
